Not usually crazy about scifi romances, but I love Piper Stone and gave this a try. Well, I couldn't stop listening! Such a great story! (Plus it didn't hurt that a love menages!) And of course Ken did an awesome job!!!!

I devoured this one it was An edgy, dark, scorching romance that is filled to the brim with intense heat a fascinating plot that is both decadent and breathtaking and characters that are truly amazing.

This is strange but interesting and entertaining. I was amused as I listened and didn't expect this to play out as it did. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. If you like dark romances, you should like this story. It has mystery, angst, betrayal, secrets, unknown villains, hot dominant aliens, a strong woman whose body betrays her, warring factions, many twists and turns, and explosive sensual sex. Many coincidences may not be that. Some may be warring strategies, but which ones? Listen carefully or you may miss important information. This will be a thrilling experience. The narrator does an admirable job of portraying the emotions and personalities of these characters. His words flow smoothly, so he is a pleasure to listen to.

This book takes you on the fantasy of throwing your pride and acceptable social customs out the window and just enjoy. Interesting how much we could enjoy when you don’t have to worry about what society thinks about you because that choice has been taken from you. But this book isn’t all about sex, the alien take over plot shows how when push comes to shove you can’t trust anyone. Everyone is out for themselves and will turn on you for their personal gain.

The narration was the only thing that could have been improved on. I get that this is personal preference so I left this at a 3 star. I know the male narrators have trouble with Female parts so I usually grade that on a steep curve but even then it still sounded like an M/M/M story. The book was so well written though that it didn’t keep me from finishing the book💗

Set in the future of Earth, it shows what our world will be like if we do not fix it. Global warming, mass destruction and leaders who don't care about their people are in our future. Casey is fighting the good fight, but she is framed and sentenced to go to the auctions of the Malzeons, the race who saved us from self destruction. She is subject to their punishment and their pleasure. Eventually, Casey must decide if she trusts her captors so that both their worlds can be saved. I loved the narration by Ken Solin. He brings the characters to life.

I enjoyed listening to this story BUT I had a hard time following at times. I’m sure it was my listening while doing chores and not putting my 100 into listening so I lost my train of thought. The story is a keeper.
