We’re Adding 15 Voice Legends to Audible’s Narrator Hall of Fame

We’re excited to announce that we’re inducting a new cohort of 15 narrators into our Narrator Hall of Fame on April 8, 2026, at Audible’s Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City.
Audible launched the Narrator Hall of Fame in 2018 as a way to recognize voice talent whose outstanding performances have redefined the listening experience, engaged devoted fans, and elevated our creator community, with the first cohort including legendary names like Jim Dale, Alan Cumming, Robin Miles, Andi Arndt, and Vikas Adam. To pass the honor onto a new group of narrators, Adam will be hosting the April ceremony — which marks the revival of the Narrator Hall of Fame on a biennial basis — as we shine a spotlight on the exceptional artistry and impact of the voices behind many of Audible’s most beloved titles.
We’re honored to have the following talented professionals join the Narrator Hall of Fame this year.

Since revolutionizing the digital audiobook category, Audible has continued to grow it by investing heavily in premium productions, and we remain committed to the performers that bring our stories to life.
Audible’s Chief Content Officer, Rachel Ghiazza, says, “For decades, Audible has worked with some of the most talented narrators in the world: artists who transform beloved stories into performances that stick with listeners long after they're finished. The Hall of Fame narrators we're honoring this year have shaped millions of listening experiences around the world and represent the best of the art form. Narration is the craft at the heart of our stories, and we're thrilled to celebrate these extraordinary voices who are essential in bringing incredible audio storytelling to customers."
One of those extraordinary voices, Edoardo Ballerini, emphasizes the personal impact that working with Audible has had on professionals like him: “Fourteen years ago, Audible changed the course of my career and life,” he says. “Induction into the Narrator Hall of Fame is an honor that resonates on such a deeply personal level, it's hard to put into words. I'm beyond grateful, and truly humbled.”
Fellow inductee and fan favorite Julia Whelan echoes his enthusiasm. “This honor is a celebration of creativity and talent, and highlights that essential, elemental part of being human: how telling stories unites us, creating intimacy, empathy, connection, and, most importantly, relationships. I'm thrilled to be included.”
To qualify for induction, each Hall of Fame narrator needs to have a robust body of work on Audible and rave reviews from fans; they must be actively involved in the narrator community and have helped to evolve the art form; and they should have demonstrated versatility across genres and styles.
The event will include presentations and performances, along with remarks by each of the honorees, and will be attended by Audible leadership, industry professionals, previous inductees, the media, and family and guests of the new cohort.
