In Support of Marriage Equality, Audible Australia Listens to Love

When we launched our first Audible Original series in Australia, we wanted to make sure it was something from the heart.

This was the impetus behind Listen to Love, a six-part series created and produced by Audible in collaboration with The Equality Campaign, the national campaign for marriage equality in Australia.

The Audible series blends fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and comedy in an exploration of the nature, importance, and hazards of love, alongside personal testimonies by LGBTQIA+ Australian couples who describe what marriage equality means to them. Among the Australian celebrities who lent their voices to the project were Osher Günsberg, host of “The Bachelor Australia”; comedians Joel Creasey and Tom Ballard; and media personality and presenter Joel Carnegie.

Australia’s 2017 same-sex marriage referendum passed in a landslide. But the message of Listen to Love is timeless – take a listen and hear for yourself.
