Being a catalyst for positive change in cities and countries in which we operate is part of Audible’s DNA—it’s what our People Principle of activate caring seeks to articulate. This principle guides the work we do and it’s how we approach Audible Cares, our internal program providing community service and engagement opportunities for Audible employees around the world, focused on improving lives through education and technology.
Last year, nearly 1,000 employees in Newark and in eight of our global offices took time out of their day to work shoulder-to-shoulder in 70 Audible Cares events. From educational workshops on storytelling, audio production and STEM, to cultural awareness months in Chennai, Singapore, Berlin, London, Seattle, Cambridge and Newark to the preservation of our Newark neighborhood’s historic Washington Park, Audible teams have deepened their comradery as we’ve also offered young people around the globe opportunities to explore, learn and grow.
