Audible + Newark: Audible Launches Innovation Cathedral Community Tours

A group of 4 people are looking at the Innovation Cathedral's stained glass windows depicting multiple people throughout history who have contributed their own innovations in science and the arts.

Update: The health, safety and wellbeing of our community is always our top priority. Given the evolving Coronavirus situation globally and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to temporarily put our community tours on hold. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask that you please check back for updates on the resumption of tours later this spring.

Audible recently announced community tours of the Innovation Cathedral. The rehabilitated 80,000 square-foot former church and community center, built in 1933, reopened its doors in May 2019. Its restoration preserved many of the historic elements—including distinctive stained-glass windows, organ pipes and a bowling alley.

For decades, this building has been a very important landmark in the lives of so many Newark residents and we’re excited to share tours of the reimagined space. Sign-up and/or view future tour dates by clicking on the links below.
