Wow, this, is a really hard review for me to do. Liked the plot, even though it was predictable. The narration was really hard for me, Abby C had way ..Show More »to much angst in her voice ALL the time so when it was needed for the story line it didn't really make an impression. Sean wasn't bad either but did not fit the character, every sentence felt like a graph, high to low high to low he would be better suited for a story about a PI in the thirties or something. These guys need a Phil G with the deep sexy voice. I felt the females were just a bit too high school for being thirty. Izzy was the worst, the love of your life, made plain multiple times, walks back into your life and you want to shun him and not get any answers, wow I don't think so. I really would like to go to the next book but not sure I can get thru another several hours with these narrators. I will most likely try, just to see if all the soft, breathy I'm so hurt voice is carried over to the next story. If so it will be my last I will buy the kindle edition.
I have been waiting to find out if Chelsea and Cooper would finally get to tell their story, but I wi..Show More »sh there was more.
Chelsea knew what she was getting into when she had a one night stand with Coop, no string attached. But she got more than she bargained for, as time passes she tries harder to keep her secret but it becomes harder when the secret has a brother named Asher and he has taken her breathe away. She knows he's the one, but will he accept her and her secret, unconditionally and completely?
Asher and his brother, Coop did not grown up with a typical mother, from the time they were born they were both raised to believe they were worthless. As they grow so does their confidence and their brotherly bond. But in order have a happily ever after, he has to let go of the past and with the loss of his brother, Chelsea is going to have to do some quick thinking to save him.
I loved this book, since I cried my eyes out in Beck. Everything comes together in full circle.
