If you really want to listen to your GPS read a cross between a romance novel and "The Perils of Pauline;" this is the book for you. It began with jus..Show More »t a really bad reader but a story that seemed interesting. By the beginning of part 2, I realized I was dreading turning on my book. I had thought I wanted to find out how it ended. I decided it wasn't worth my time. I am amazed Amy Rubinate has narrated other books. I will never get another one by her.
Listening to this book was like watching a horror movie - you really didn't want to know who was hiding behind the door but you couldn't turn your eye..Show More »s away. For this reason I am sure there are small parts of this book that I missed and so I know I will listen to it again.
'She Can Scream' was extremely well written and as with other books in this series it had that 'I didn't see that coming' edge to it.
I like Melinda Leigh because she always manages to entertain me. This story is no exception. You have the story of Cristan and Sarah. Cristan has fled..Show More » to Pennsylvania after a cartel hit which leaves him fearing for his daughter's safety. Sarah has an ex husband who is abusive and she is trying to protect her two young daughters. They are drawn together and find love despite an unexpected threat from Cristan's past and Sarah's ex. This story was a little predictable to me which is why I gave it four stars. I do recommend for a sale or a credit.
