I just couldn't stop listening to this book, it held my attention throughout. It's basically another 'twist' on the vampire genre (they are the 'orig..Show More »inals' ) but with a nice romantic plot .

What a shame another good book ruined by narration
Well what a disappointment this was, not for the story which was good but, if you're like me, the narrator can make or break a listen and this.....one..Show More »......was......so......slow......it......was......painful. She didn't put any feelings into the story - it was just a plain boring monotone - yuk! If the female lead didn't have an accent then I wouldn't of known who was talking.
If you can get past her dialogue - it helps if you can speed he up - then the story has merit, and it is part of a series so I expect you will want to download it just to keep up with the storyline.
Worth the credit? - If you're following the series then yes.
Despite the dislikeable voices of the characters that the narrator portrays, the storyline is really entertaining. So I suggest you play 'Sample' or ..Show More »just double speed her.
It's got a good story based in a Brothel of multiple gruesome murders together with the ongoing plot by the sect trying to destroy the Brotherhood of vampires and finally a strong attraction between handsome vampire Saint and Ivy - the baby he saved and who is all grown up now and who is eager and all too willing for the pleasures and love she is so desperate to give him.
Worth a credit? Could have been better with a different narrator, but YES I'm more than happy with the series and looking forward to the conclusion.
Again, this could have been narrated much better, but despite this, it had a brilliant storyline about hate, deception, betrayal, understanding and th..Show More »en forgiveness and finally love.
It was exciting as the story of the Brotherhood unfolds and we are finding out more and more why exactly they are being hunted. Coupled with this plot, you then have the tortured romance between husband and wife vampires that is so touching.
Worth a credit? Despite my repetitive complaints about narration, YES the plot's good and worthy of a credit - but listen to a 'Sample' just in case.
It captures you right from the start and carries you along with it as we finally find out who is at the top of the group involved in all the murders a..Show More »nd plots against the Brotherhood of vampires and why.
This has a good romance along with all the characters seen from the previous books unite to fight the enemy and - at last a better narrator.
Worth a credit? Yes, I think it was the best in the series.
