Publisher's summary

This Time Around: Andy Mason was practically a kid when he left home to pursue big-league ambitions, but the man who returns to Blissville is humbled by shattered dreams and secrets. Andy's no stranger to grit and determination, and he'll need both to win back his ex-boyfriend Milo's cynical heart.

Smoke in the Mirror: Memphis Sullivan thought he was coming to Blissville to help his cousin out, but instead he gained a permanent home. More than a year later, he owns a popular comic book and vinyl record store and doesn't think his life could get any better. That all changes when the star of his favorite television show rides into town and spices up his vanilla world.

Inside Out: Romeo Bradly and Julius Shepherd moved to Blissville for the same reason: a fresh start. But the sleepy little town offered them much more than they'd bargained for - quirky people, unlikely friendships, and an all-consuming attraction that turns them inside out.

Prescription for Love: Wanting to distance himself from his toxic parents, Trent Love moved to Blissville to begin a new life. What he finds is blazing chemistry with a hunky fireman who breathes new life into him.

Contains mature themes.

Book 4

Milo sucked. He was mad but he was at fault. Andy is too good for him.

Well imagined world

Conversations that are relevant, scenarios that seem real, and a town I want to move to make this series so very believable.

I could wish for better delineation between characters in the narration.

great narrator!

I loved this series, but I struggled to finish the last two books.

The narrator is one of my favorites and did a really great job as always.

Milo and Andy

I love all of these stories even though they follow exactly the same format, except...."This Time Around". I found Milo to be petulant and abusive to Andy. I would have walked...no...RUN far away as soon as he compared me with a serial rapist. I don't think I've ever hated a "LOVE' interest character in stories, good or bad. Milo as a background character would have been enough in my opinion.

I did enjoy the others, especially Lyric and Memphis, John and Emory, Kyle and Chaz, Wren and Dare, Romeo and Julius, but give a more deserving boyfriend to Andy.

Milo was angry at Andy for leaving him in 8th grade. The story says that after Andy left, Milo spent his last 2 years of high school with Tucker. So Tuck and Milo were together in 9th and 10th grade. What 8th grader holds a grudge 12 years later about a kid who moved away when you were 13?

This is not a critique of this author whom I love reading. She is AMAZING!

Never thought sex would be boring

I don’t know why I finished this book. It had the potential of being an ok story but it lost its way, I’m all for some sex in novels but this was the main character. It’s also interesting that being that this book was about sex addicted there is never the mention of sexual hygiene before sex. If I want a good horny book I want to know that it was and not present itself as good novel
