This is a part of a series about “Stargazer Alien Reality Bride s”. This is book 6 of the series. It’s about a human wedding planner named Ruby and an alien by the name of Parker. While Ruby is planning an amazing wedding for her best friend. On top of which this will be on a televised reality show. All of this is happening about the time that Parker decides he’s found his mate in Ruby. Of course Ruby’s high school crush suddenly shows up and causes all sorts of problems for the two.

This is a solid continuation of the series. Ruby and Parker’s story was just as fun as the first book—maybe even more. I really enjoyed the glimpse of the next couple; it’s a great way to build anticipation and get a feel for what’s coming. Like the previous book, there was a bit of sabotage, but this time it felt more balanced—just the right amount without overwhelming the story. The narration was well done, and I’m glad the same narrator is used across all three books. It keeps the tone consistent and easy to enjoy.

Low on angst, high on fun. Also, sweet as aliens search for love from “the one” to lock them into their newly created human bodies. I love how being newly human allows for fresh appreciation of human customs, foods, and pop culture. There are two naughty scenes that are slightly more cable
than TV friendly.

This being a novella, the plot zips along like a TV sitcom. You’ll see the bad guy a mile away, when out of the gate he says things like “you’re a solid nine, which would be a Hollywood seven” and other backhanded compliments. But it’s all in service to an HEA that’s never truly in peril. Each novella is a complete story, but the couples build onto each other, as each alien brother finds his mate. Listen in order for the ideal trifecta.

I get that it was a novella but it was too short and it was so corny and it was made to sound even more corny because of the way Mason Lloyd reads! I think he is one of the worst male narrators ever! good grief he sounds this way in every book why in the world would they pick him to this book! it was stupid I couldn't even finish a 2-hour book! I had to skip some chapters in this book just to Speed it along. and the sex scene was cringy to me. terrible I do not recommend this.
