Discover the bestselling fantasy adventure that inspired the show.

The Sisters Grimm set out to catch a thief in Magic and Other Misdemeanors, this fifth adventure in Michael Buckley’s beloved New York Times bestselling fantasy series.

Intrepid fairy-tale detectives Sabrina and Daphne Grimm investigate a sudden streak of magical thefts that might add up to a very grim future for their family, who are not so popular in Ferryport Landing these days. With Granny Relda desperately scrambling to pay Mayor Heart’s outrageous taxes on humans, the Sisters Grimm tackle their first solo case—with a little help from Puck, of course.

Meanwhile, their old friend Mr. Canis seems to be losing his grip on his human self, becoming more like the Big Bad Wolf every day. Can Sabrina and Daphne solve the crime and change their family’s future for the better?

Millions have fallen in love with the Grimm sisters' adventures. The series is ideal for middle-grade listeners, but enjoyable for anyone who loves a good fairy-tale twist.

“Kids will love Sabrina and Daphne’s adventures as much as I did.”—Sarah Michelle Gellar, star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I Know What You Did Last Summer

What did you love best about The Sisters Grimm?

The adventures continue, and each episode contains mini stories of virtue impetuousness and delight. The introduction to the Brothers Grimm through this series makes it easier to have my now 2nd grader engaged! The notion of time and the development between two of the characters generates incredulous chuckles in the evening.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Sisters Grimm?

Puck's declaration of his marital status

What about L. J. Ganser’s performance did you like?

Grandma Relda is so endearing and diplomatic

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Mr Canis redirects the children about what are the concerns of parents and not of the kids. there are times when children filter parental concerns a bit too deeply and this provides a teachable moment platform.

We listen more than once enthalled and amused

I laughed right out loud several times at the creative links with fairy tales. I guess this is probably a kid's book but it was a fun book to listen to.

Hilariously delightful

Every family should have a Daphne. Good books but do listen in order. You'll be so confused if you don't. AND you must have all the books. Each ends with a "to be continued" type ending.

Book 5 of the series

Audible, this is ridiculous!!! I just wanted to rate this book and not write a review. Having to write reviews in order to rate has prevented me from rating at all. I just want to give props to enjoyable reads . I will just copy and paste this "review" going forward.
