Number one in Kindle Vella at launch!

Rebecca Zanetti returns to her paranormal romance roots!

When Mia Stone is asked to consult on a case in the middle of nowhere, she leaps at the chance to escape the disaster that has become her FBI career, while ignoring the threat still pursuing her. The ending

I totally didn’t see that ending coming. I’m sure some people may but I definitely didn’t 😁

🌻I’m sure I’m going to love it!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas 🌻🌻🌻🌻

I really enjoyed the first book, in this series, with the exception of the Heroine’s inability to accept the differences between the human and shifter communities; she didn’t even try. Other than that, I am excited to experience the development of this series.

There are a few intimate scenes but, they aren’t overly descriptive and there aren’t very many.

There is some shifter violence but, they are not too descriptive, either.

There was a mystery to solve and I didn’t solve it before the author revealed the truth.

Overall, I considered it a credit worthy listen.

Loved this story!

Edit: I purchased this book when it became available on Kindle and read it a second time. I still agree with what I wrote below... Wolf is a phenomenal story and I loved it just as much, if not more, the second time reading it!! I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read the next one in this series!!

Original review: Another excellent story written by Rebecca Zanetti!! I absolutely love reading her stories and this is another one that just sucked me in from the beginning. I wasn’t 100% sure about the Amazon Vella format however, still having a chance to read an engaging story was very exciting. Truthfully, no matter what format it is I will always read a book written by Rebecca Zanetti! She is a gifted writer that never lets her readers down! The world that Rebecca builds makes you feel as if you are part of it and living in these characters shoes. I loved the character development and the relationship between Seth & Mia was phenomenal. I also liked how Rebecca was able to build relationships with other characters throughout the story. After reading this story I definitely would love to have more stories written with these characters. Also, I think people will enjoy where the takes you (I won’t say anything more because I don’t want to give any of the story development away). 😉 One last thing I would like to mention is that I truly enjoyed the author notes after each chapter. It was fun to read about what was going through her mind or happening at the time of the writing! That made the story even more relatable which was pretty cool.

I believe that those few characters could have been brought into better place in the story and or in a series of book 2, 3 ... Mfc OMG, her confused right & wrong really got on my nerves 🤔😱😜 shut up already Mia! geez! 🤣 but their passion was totally intense 🔥💥🔥

Interesting story

The narration could be a little better. I listened at a speed of 1.5, and that seemed to help. Overall I enjoyed the book and will listen to the next one in the series.

this book needed a dual narration to elevate!

I love all things Rebecca Zanetti! I was 100% on board with a wolfshifter /former FBI agent pairing.

Seth is a wolf shifter who finds himself a target of local law enforcement and a former FBI profiler looking to find killer of a young local girl.
Mia has been asked to help out an old friend plus its the perfect chance to help her mom heal emotionally and mentally from a serial killer's attack.
She and Seth are immediately drawn to eachother but they're both in denial of the attraction.
I have to say Mia really irritated me as a character and I had hoped that opinion would change as the story progressed. I'm not sure what bothered me more, her stubborn insistence that she could handle herself against wolf Shifters (to be fair, she didn't know they were Shifters until much later in the story) or if the character just didn't work for me.

Stella Bloom is one of my favorite narrators and I loved her voicing of Mia, but was really missing the Male POV narration.
This audiobook would've definitely been elevated with a growly deep voice playing Seth. I imagine Aiden Quinn, Jason Clarke, Sebastian York , just to name a few.

I am going to read the next book because it's Rebecca and I love her books, but also I just don't like skipping books out of order if its going to be relevant to the 3rd book.

I'll probably also eyeball this next one so I can put my own voices to each character!

The heroine is soooo stupid!

Really, I couldn't stand the heroine. How stupid can 1 person be. Had to skip to the end. She has no common sense at all!

A heroine that is hard to respect

The story line was good. The alphas were good. The heroine was so egotistical it was difficult to finish. After several attempts I just leapt forward to the ending.
