Publisher's summary

“A wedding is the beginning of the end.” (Lochlan Blaine)

Look, I’ve seen firsthand what marriage does to a man. I’m not interested. You want to take the leap? Fine. But have the decency to elope. Leave me out of it.

And then I see her. The happily ever after loving bridesmaid at the wedding I couldn’t get out of.

This flower-wielding bombshell is all wrong for me. But one night together is enough to convince me that she could be the answer to my problem. All I need is three weeks with her....

“Weddings are magic.” (Tilly Camden)

I love love. And weddings. That’s how I land the best job in the world: professional bridesmaid. Brides hire me to make sure their big day goes off without a hitch, usually while dressed in taffeta.

I can’t wait until I find the one. The cranky, three-piece-suit-wearing Adonis who smirks at the idea of happily ever after is definitely not him. Lochlan Blaine has “heartbreaker” written all over him.

I should know better. But when a panty-melting one-night stand turns into an offer I can’t refuse, what’s a bridesmaid to do? It’s only three weeks. It’s just business.

I can’t possibly get my heart broken. Can I?

Fabulous

Fabulous narration of a wonderful story. I’ve read the book twice and had to revisit it on audible (better version of a book made into a movie). Connor was great as Lochlan and I forgot how darn funny his family is! Well all the characters are hilarious!

Cute, Silly, Fun

This is my first Avery Maxwell book, and I went it with little expectations. It was a fun rom com with just enough smut. The plot was solid, the character growth was good, but I wish the heroine would have stopped calling the hero lover at the beginning of the book instead of him that nickname throughout the story as it became annoying. Otherwise a good read and I would recommend it, as the annoying nickname is a me thing.

Love me some Tilly and Locklan

First off let me say I am just an average little housewife who loves audios
Second luvs luvs luvs this author , her series brings out all the feels for me
Narrators did an amazing job bringing this to life

I am not the greatest reviewer as never sure what to say…
I truly enjoyed listening to this book and will listen to any this author has in audio
The story was fun, loved her girl squad she always turned to ( I have such friends) and how Tilly handled things, and oh Locklan is well you decied …he is such a keeper … so tough yet not lol
Love he is Coltons friend and the little reminders of the others from other books of hers… i love series where they are all so close,,, anyway
I listen to different romance ones to fit my mood and this one was another favorite that of course I will listen to again,
Not all stories are fir everyone but if you are in the Avery Maxwell universe how can ya not love all the characters she brings to life …

I guess the short of it is, I listen to book to enjoy it and not look to find the faults that might be there, I just figure it wasnt the right time to listen… different moods find different books and narrators to listen too

Enjoy it was a fun lovin listen

Sweet, Sexy, & Fun!!!

The Narrators Charlotte North & Connor Crais are absolutely FABULOUS!! There were times when I had to take a step back with Connor as the ever-serious Lochlan Blaine because he's just so STRONG - WILLED in his moving decisions for not only his hotels, but his family and the enigmatic Tilly!!

I adored Tilly the first time around in the
ebook of Without A Hitch, but the audio book? Listening to Charlotte Norbridesth run heads and tails around every wedding she's assigned to to keep the happy is an amazing feat.

Beyond that, the mini-vacation that Loch and Tilly take to convince John about his winery and their love for each other is FIRE!! They were wonderful with each others personalities and desires. Plus the addition of Loch and Tillies families could be its own comedy routine. This is one of my favorite audiobooks of the year!! 5 stars all around! Avery Maxwell does an excellent job building a family, even if most of it is built out of trauma and sham, I would believe her no matter what.

It was good.

I liked it, but it was too much of a romcom for me. I didn’t care for the male main character at all. My personal preference is for the hero to be more alpha. He was a beta. I was happy to see characters from this author’s other books which were really good. It made this one more enjoyable. Looking forward to more from this author. I just hope she does less romcom and more intrigue with stronger characters,
