excellent book. this would be an awesome series!

parts of the book really reminded me of game of thrones. excellent character development and twists in the book. you really root for the characters and loathe the bad guys

SHTF story that turns into some sort of mystery

Characters are ok, and the ones who don’t get killed off, just aren’t interesting enough to follow. The level of mental illness in a few of the characters is sorta off putting. Just not my cup of tea.

A dramatic horror

This book was well executed. The characters were given dimension and depth, though many were a lot alike in attitude and personality. The corpses, as they were called, were kept simple and given a decent treatment, playing off of Romero type with a little extra. The shining star in my opinion was the attention to medical, anatomical and weapon detail, very well put together and structured. If I had one complaint, maybe two, they would be that the reader of the audio book often took a flat, monotone voice and slightly broke me from my revelry. Second being the silly complaint about the characters not being more varied and it’s not really a complaint. I look forward to the sequel and would recommend this to everyone who likes horror

Awesome job gents! Fantastic read

This was a great story that leads the door open to the readers for more of what is to come. Action packed and includes crumbs for readers (listeners) to munch on while keeping the story exciting and entertained. A must read for ZOMBIE and non-zombie lovers.

Best zombie novel!

One a the most realistic top zombie novel I’ve listened to in years. Finally something more realistic, twisted, gruesome. I loved this novel. Finished two days ago and literally listening to it again.

Not Enough Zombies !

The story started out okay however never explained the how zombie apocalypse really started. The characters did band together to come up with strategies to survive but the story quickly became strange and more about the their sometimes difficult relationships. Definitely less and less about the zombies and more about a psychotic serial killer and senseless killing of people trying to survive. If you like that type of book, you’ll love, this one it’s just not the type of book I normally like to read.

There is an unequaled reality to this writing. Superb stores and character development! The depth of knowledge and details regarding tactics and medical can not be fabricated.

It's truly amazing to see this genre approached from this angle.

Finally a realistic zombie novel

Love this book, completely different take on a zombie apocalypse and every chapter makes it hard to put down. Each chapter seemed like it’s own intense little story that I would find myself listening to deep into the night and all of a sudden the sun was on its way up.

Highly recommend! Great story!

The best zombie book I’ve read

Not only is this book fast paced and action packed it’s the authors unique knowledge of tactical, medical, and human instincts that make it a realistic and violently accurate representation of human nature in the chaotic effects of survival. An absolute Must read.
