Fantastic Listen
Never have I heard two narrators read characters alternate speaking parts. Nicole Smalls and Jakobi Diem really brought Unfortunately Francine to reality. It was exciting reading the book, but more equally awesome hearing it in audio. Job well done!

Not even done but...I kinda cheated and read reviews before I FINALLY decided to go get this joint!! Phenomenal!!
I have no words for how truly amazing this story is. It took me on an emotional roller coaster that I didn’t want to get off of. Joan is a literary genius. I read the book first and it blew my mind. Adding the narration of Jakobi and Nicole was the cherry on top for the audible version. I listened with anticipation as if i had no idea what was going to happen next…. I can’t wait for book 2.

There has to be a part 2
I loved Joan’s book “Black” and tried this one. I was not disappointed. Love me some Jakobi Diem. Having two people play all female/male voices was everything and it needs to be done more. How this book ended there has to be a part 2.

Totally awesome!
This was such a good listen! Loved all the characters! I can listen to Jakobi 24-7! That voice! Both narrators brought the story to life and I felt I was there in every scene. Everything came full circle! Shirley Jenkins is a mess though! Frankie couldnt help but fall for Troy! Levi got a story though that I wouldn't mind hearing!
