Phenomenal story, GET IT!!

You will not regret getting this book. In my opinion, the whole series are must haves. Sara Driscoll is absolutely one of the BEST authors I have ever read. (I read a lot, like … a lot). Her story line development is extraordinary. The extensive research and expert consults make her stories a genre of their own. I have read and listened to every one of her published books. I highly recommend this series to everyone. I always learn as much as I am entertained by her books. The reader, Susan Bennett, is fantastic and really brings the characters to life. I am a dog person and have trained a certified therapy dog and I beyond love the relationship Meg and Hawk have. Every time I re-read, or first time read a new book, I start making plans to train my next doggo as a SAR dog. But Sara describing the physical stamina needed (5 mile runs daily at 5am) convinces me maybe a drug sniffing dog is more my speed.

Another Thrilling Read

As Meg and Brian, along with Hawk and Lacy, attempt to chase down mobsters in Philadelphia, with disappointing results, my initial thought was that this book is missing some of the drama and passion that makes this series one of the best. I was wrong. The fuse was just a little longer, but the detonation was worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to more.

Story went quickly. I did feel a little disconnect on the diamonds theme but not much. Narrator is excellent.

Another great case

I really enjoyed this one. It was interesting and entertaining as Meg, Hawk and her team are after the Philly mafia and tracking them with blood diamonds to take them down. Meg, Hawk, Brian and Lacey are being used in a new way to track the undercover cop as he makes deliveries in order to keep people safer and have things be more undetectable. It was really interesting and a smart way to use the search and rescue dogs. There were some twists and turns as well and it definitely kept the story interesting. I was engaged the entire time and loved watching not only the case move forward but also the interpersonal relationships. This story deals with the blood diamonds and how they get moved around and it was interesting knowledge as well. I'm excited to see what comes next.
The narrator did a good job with the characters and emotions and the action going on. It adds that extra dynamic to bring the story alive.
