Love this story line. Narrative not so much

I've this story. I've listen to book 1 and 2. The narrator isn't bad with the women's voices but when it comes to the men's voices she speaks far to slow. It extremely aggravating. But I will still listen to the 3rd cause the books are that good

Amazing

V S Winters why must you kill me at the end of each story! Now I have to wait until book 3! I had no idea what to expect from book 2 because I didn't read any of the books and was glad I didn't. So many plot twists and the narrators did an amazing job bring the story to life!

Wow

Even though Eden's voice reminds me of Peppa Pig, I still loved this story. On to part 3. I'm used to the performance by now. Great story, Great job!

Slightly predictable but I still loved it

ugh..Lord it's hot in here

this one was as good as the first but it did have some cliche " I'm mad at you so I don't think we are good for each other" moments. Some scenes I just wanted to slap her and steal her man. but she finally wakes up from that moment of stupid. loved the end. leads to the 3rd book which I just bought 😋

Loved the story line!!

I'd have given it 5 stars but I had to listen to the audible version and being American the accents of the character was hard to wrap my head around. Other than the audible narriration I was captivated by the third page. if you enjoy fantasy romance you will want to read this series

Entertaining

I loved the world the author created. There were a lot of unexpected events but I was sure intrigued by it all. The story and characters were very well written. I thought it was funny, hot, and adventurous. Definitely recommend and worth the buy. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life and good pace. There were some parts where they did go super slow. Anyways other than that I enjoyed listening and I can’t wait to get the next installment.

narrator ruined it

It would've been a decent book, but the narrator ruined it. I don't know why she would put such a long pause in between words when she was speaking character parts other than the main character. She made the other characters sound like idiots. If she would've just read normally throughout the whole book, it would've been a decent read.

Couldn’t finish

The premise was typically of the genre, but I don’t mind if it’s done right.
The first book was okay enough to buy #2. But it gradually fell apart until I felt like gagging at one of the graphic sex scenes.
Some very interesting characters finally met and nothing. And how and why did the King go from being disgusted by the “witch” to insta-lust. There’s no relationship! I try to finish most books once I get this far, but I realized I really didn’t care anymore. Our heroine wasn’t appealing anymore. The tone kept changing if that makes sense- from more formal tale to modern chilled out slang. I’m irritated enough to write review. And warning: the sex scenes get pretty verbally graphic. Makes my eyes roll because at my age it seems stupid, there has to be some relationship or tenderness. Bleh.

I like the story line but had to put it down an come back to it.
She whines so much at times then she kind of falls through the story.
then she saves someone when half the time she can't get out of her on way.
