Full of lies, cruelty and secrets in this group-of-bullies romance. I didn’t like Luca and the way she was unhealthily attracted to Tanner and how she behaved unintelligently. Too much meanness in the book to really be enjoyable for me. Narrators’ voices were good, but way too slow. Listening at 1x speed could in no way keep my attention - 1.8x speed sounded more like a normal reading speed, but the words were clipped and the narrator’s skill was somewhat lost. Would have been much better recorded at a faster speed.

Complex puzzle of mind games

Well, if you like the bad boys who dont apologize for what they do, then The Inferno is the group for you. Treachery had me booked from page 1 and on the edge of my seat until the end.

Really Enjoyed!!!!

It took a long time to warm up to Tanner, but I loved Luca. She was such a strong heroine and gave as good as she got. The banter between these two was off the charts. It took me a while to get into this story, but I could not stop turning the pages. This is not your typical love story, but if you're a fan of dark, bully type romance you will throughly enjoy!!!!!

Five star for me the male narrator was fantastic. I can’t wait till she puts out more on audio totaling and completely worth the credit

Wow!!!! Perfect from the first word to the last!

Luca, raised in a loving home, sweet, smart, and driven to succeed, no one tells her what to do. Tanner, rich, powerful conceited and determined, raised in an environment more akin to the Nine Circles of Hell, he allows nothing and no one to get in his way. He doesn’t know how to show love and he doesn’t know how to accept love. This is their story and the first book in what promises to be a magnificent series. The writing is incredible, The plot dark, intense, twisted and gripping. The scene setting is perfect, leaving no confusion, and no head scratching. The dialogue believable, witty and engagingly sprinkled with a ton of humor, so welcome and so necessary to provide balance to the dark. Then there was the narration. This was my first time listening to this duo, it won’t be my last. Only one word fits, and that word is perfection. They made me laugh out loud, they made cringe, they made me feel anger, and they also made me cry big ugly sobbing tears. They made me feel! They made the story feel real and they made listening an absolute pleasure. I loved every single minute! This audiobook was a winner in every way possible. And that epilogue! No spoilers here but I am so in! I know there are nine circles of hell and I truly hope there are nine books in this series because I want every single one! Five stars!

Alpha bully romance

I got to say that the concept for the whole Antihero Inferno series is what piqued my interest into reading and listening to Treachery. The sexy and soothing performances by Blake Lockheart and Ramona Radcliff made it so much more enjoyable. Tanner was everything I love in an alpha bully, and Blake portrayed his character to a T. But Luca’s character fell a little short for me. There wasn’t much growth to her character and for the timespan given throughout the book, I expected a much hardened woman after reading about all of the problematic issues that kept happening. All in all, this book is still very entertaining and would rec this for the audiobook experience alone.

Enemies to lovers at its FINEST

This one seriously blew me away. The story is thrilling, heated, heartbreaking at times, and then puts your heart back together after shattering it. Blake and Ramona are EXCELLENT! They bring it to life in the greatest of ways. I really hope more of this series is coming in audio as I can't wait for Gabe's story!

Great story!

They book itself was great! The male reader was too but the lack of character the female reader gives takes away from how good the story is. Aside from that definite recommend.

Dark, Twisted & Intense! Amazing Story & Narration

Wow, this book just blew me away, it is an amazing bully romance and a great start to the “Antihero Inferno” series, each book features a different lead character from the “Inferno Boys” a group of nine friends and cohorts, each having their own speciality, an evil and sinful specialty that parallels those of the Nine Circles of Hell. This is my first book written by Lily White, I enjoyed her writing style and the originality of the characters and storylines she created, they are interesting and captivated my attention from start to end. I loved her take and spin on Dante’s Inferno’s Circles, starting with the Ninth, Treachery and Tanner Caine, the lead character is definitely treacherous. The prequel takes place in the past with the nine boys at Yale University, and we learn the boys are puppets and their fathers the puppet masters. These boys were not born bad, but their fathers molded them to be the way they are. Tanner is the unofficial leader of the group, the one who keeps them all together, his sidekick and best friend, Gabriel aka Fraud, is a big help, though all the boys have parts to play. Luca Bailey is a studious girl and is doing her best to maintain her high grades. Unknowingly, the Inferno boys need something from her and are masterminding their plans to get it, with Tanner in the lead. But he quickly learns that she is not easy to manipulate and that he has met his match in Luca. But when Luca gets a call to come home, they put the plan on hold. The story picks up in the present time, Luca is divorcing Clayton, her boyfriend from Yale and his attorney is none other than Tanner and if she wants to win her divorce, she has to do as he says. Holy moly, this book is full of twists and turns that keep you on your toes and those Inferno boys, double holy moly and let’s not forget to mention that the chemistry between Luca and Tanner is absolutely explosive. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a brilliantly plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, mystery, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and some steamy romance. The world building is phenomenal and I am looking forward to learning more about what is going on behind the scenes and with their fathers. Lily White, thank you for this amazing story and the thrilling and emotional rollercoaster ride.

They have a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, give each a voice that suits their character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, handle the banter and back-and-forth dialogue with ease, never missing a beat. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture all the characters’ emotions and project them into their performance. Both are versatile voice artists and entertaining storytellers, and their narration enhances an already amazing story another level. Thank you for this exceptional listen.
