This book is a real winner!

I admit, that while I truly value the work that Ms. Craden does narrating our leafic audiobooks, sometimes I get narrator fatigue. This book is so good though, that I barely remembered it was her narrating. This book as several tropes, but all realistically written. I never felt like the things that got in the way were manufactured for dramatic impact. I really liked the way certain issues were handled regarding sex and skill levels. This is an audiobook I will happily reread many times.

Great Story

Great story and narration? As always with Abby Craden, I’m not sure if she doesn’t sign onto mediocre stories or she has the superpower to save any story with her narration. Not that this is a mediocre story well developed characters, enjoyable pace, nice but not too many sex scenes. Actually could have used a little bit more sex for my taste but what was there was hot and by not going farther the author skipped alienating those who are turned off, pun intended, when the sex to story ratio starts to get off kilter. I’ll be looking at the other titles by the author! Really enjoyable writing.

Characters better than plot

Wish the drama weren't so contrived cuz I really enjoyed the characters. The misunderstandings weren't very believable. Still a worthwhile listen.

Great Story and Wonderful Narration

This is the first book I have read from this author and it was great! I enjoyed the virtual vacation experienced through the description of a dream vacation in Hawaii. The narration of the book was perfect and allowed for voice differentiation of the characters.

Great story and great narration. Both of the main characters swept me away and the kids were adorable. Craden brought all of theses characters to life, with change in voices, it was easy to distinguish the dialogue from one to another. I could listen to this story ten times over and it would still make me cry and laugh in all the right places. I thoroughly recommend this audiobook.

New Fan!!!

This was an amazing story. I love all the relationships between the characters and the narration was spot on as usual! Abby Craden never disappoints! You have a new fan Jaime! Awesome writing!

Finally

It is amazing to have a story where one of the characters is a mom and wasn’t previously straight. I’ve literally never seen a story that checked those boxes and as a lesbian mom, it is so refreshing. The storyline was slow starting but I was hooked onto the characters immediately once they were all introduced. The back and forth of their relationship had me on the edge of my seat wanting to dive in and scream at the characters to do this or that. bravo!
