A Cult and a Hunt for Missing Girls

Two FBI agents are sent under cover to small town and juvenile detention school. They are searching for evidence of missing young women. Posing as a lesbian couple they infiltrate the school and find a mystery that is unbelievable. Great performance and ending. Love anything by Gerri Hill. Recommend.

What an amazing read! I could not put it down! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The sex scene was steamy! Can’t wait to read the next one!

so good already starting the sequel

so good, it was Sapphic x files. starting the 2 book now. Abby craden is amazing.

Wasn’t what I was expecting and I’m all for it!

I have read some of Gerri Hills books before but not one like this, and this is by far the best I’ve read so far from Gerri. Already listening to book 2!

Hill+Craden= Yes please!

I am a big Gerri Hill fan and I’ve loved her books even before I became an Audible junkie. Most books I’d rather read than listen to b/c I like the way it sounds better in my head than the way the narrator reads it, so I’m super picky about narration. Abby Craden is one of the very few that makes me want to listen for the pleasure of it rather than the convenience. I actually prefer her voice to the one in my head.

The story is great! It reminds me a bit of The X Files with a lesbian twist. It’s funny and entertaining and the characters are very likable. I’ve listened to this book two or three times since I bought it in October 2019. The sequel is also fantastic.

Gerri Hill books are easy reads. Fun, light hearted and entertaining. I will listen to any Gerri Hill/ Abby Craden Audibles.... most likely a few times. Happy Listening!

Epic story with great narration

This story is epic. It will not leave you with the typical feeling of a normal love story. It’s barely a romance but it will keep you intrigued. I devoured this in one day because I just wanted to know what would happen next. There’s a touch of detective work, lesbian passion, and supernatural. I’m kind of mad that I avoided it for so long. And we all know Abby Craden is amazing as a narrator. That’s the reason why I caved in and got the story. Now I’m off to book 2.

Loved this story

I have loved everything that Gerri Hill has written and this was no exception. I also love Abby Craden. She does a great job with all of her work.

Why haven't I read a Gerri Hill book before now?

A wonderful surprise! And of course Abby Craden is on point. A little scary, and a different story. Loved everything!

A romantic thriller, light horror with paranormal elements.
Hill's writing is as good as always.
The plot is captivating, I couldn't stop listening.
The characters are well written.
I especially liked the parts that were told from side characters' POVs.
The only problem with this book is the lack of trigger warning, and it definitely needs it, so here it is: child abuse, rape, suicide.

Enjoyable!

Loved the intriguing story line! The energy between the two main characters was sizzling and well narrated by Craden. The ending was quite a surprise.
