Two star hockey players and their best friend’s little sister in a runaway bride rom com!

Picture this. I’m about to walk down the aisle when the groom decides to drop this news on me—he wants to dial it down to just f-buddies.

That’s when my brother’s two pro-hockey playing buddies help me escape seconds before the wedding march begins. But what’s a runaway bride to do with a broken heart and a non-refundable honeymoon? Book an extra ticket and take two off-limits, totally charming, absolutely gorgeous star athletes who want to lift my spirits.

When we arrive there’s only bed in the hotel room.

And it happens to fit three. The goalie, the forward and me.

Looks like I’m about to get thoroughly pucked on my double honeymoon. Talk about lifting my spirits…

Thoroughly Pucked is a standalone hockey, brother’s best friends, runaway bride MFM romance with a guaranteed why-choose style HEA! No swords cross.

well and throughly pucked in deed

What better way to spend your honeymoon after being dumped the day of your wedding, then with two hot hockey gods? Umm, YES PLEASE!! Aubrey is the lucky one in this story, and I do mean lucky, because although her fiancé called it off minuets before they were to walk down the aisle, she was relieved. But she still didn’t want to face everyone, so she ran away with two friends Ledger and Dev. Those two alone are a Grumpy sunshine. Ledger is fresh out of a bad breakup, and brings quiet and broody to a whole new level. Dev is the human equivalent of a golden retriever puppy. But once you get them in a one bed hotel room, ooo boy do they turn into the dirty talking, filthy position experts. This was probably my favorite of the series so far. While a lot of it is starting to feel a smidge repetitive, there was something about this trio that I immediately liked. Audrey was very easy to relate to when it came to her relief of her wedding being called off and feeling she changed who she was for him. The way Ledger and Dev supported each other, even when they both realized they wanted the same girl was something I think would be more common if people were to really open up and think about it. Plus I like that they had dabbled in this before so they knew what they were doing (I mean who doesn’t want two men who know what they are doing 😉 ). What has been pretty consistent in this series is the way a throuple is just accepted, and I love that. It's 2024, and love is so much more than two people. This story was narrated by Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton, and Jason Clarke and as much as I have loved all the narrators of this series, this was my favorite. They all represented their characters PERFECTLY. I would definitely recommend this book.

Sweet and fun

If you liked the first 2 books in this series, you'll love this. I thought it would get repetitive pushing the MFM relationship, but just like any other series it has a completely different storyline that brings them all together. It's fun. She's sweet but sassy and these 2 men are HOT and so loving. A quick listen with fabulous narration

Hike anyone???

Scorching...Blazing... incendiary… The adventure of this red hot trio, the latest in Blakely’s fantasic MFM hockey series, spreads like wildfire across the page. Although this book is a stand alone, it’s the third installment of hockey trouples (where no swords cross ) and while you don’t need to read the two previous books, it helps enhance the story. (and do yourself a favor and devour them like these men devour their women!) Blakely seamlessly weaves characters from previous books into this new story and I appreciate a well rounded group of friends and community to help me get into the story.

Aubrey is a jilted bride who needs a quick escape after her total tool of a groom leaves her at the altar. Enter our two heroes, who are the brother of the bride's best friends/Prize hockey clients. They whisk the bride away from the scene... When Aubrey decides to take the honeymoon, it's a no-brainer for her two protectors to go with her; thus starting their adventure that is a wild roller coaster of a ride. Just when you think a book couldn’t get any steamier, Blakely rises to the next level of fire with these three. Their chemistry is incendiary. I listened to this book with a glass of water by my side the entire time and it only took me two days to finish because it was so good I could not stop listening. Jason Clark could read me a book on economics, and I would be the next Chair of the Federal Reserve because I paid THAT CLOSE attention to his EVERY word. Teddy Hamilton brings the lighthearted, fun loving, optimistic Dev to life. You feel his exuberance and zest for life through Teddy's narration. Samantha brings the sensual side of Aubrey into every paragraph that she reads. You feel for these characters because obviously she’s struggling with her past and needs to be a people pleaser. You cheer for her to live her life on her terms. You also get caught up in the passion that the three of these characters develop for each other. Blakely brings us another empowered female that unapologetically knows her desires and goes after what she wants! And what she wants are two men whose sole responsibility is to take care of her!

Yes, it’s a sexy story but it’s also one where the growth of characters shines through. You root for this trio. You want men like Ledger and Dev by your side and even though the concept of three people in a relationship might be foreign to some, Blakely’s words make it seem like it’s commonplace and how love should be. Love is love in any iteration, and that comes through in the story.

If you are looking for a feel good story with a side of spice… OK, a whole lot of spice… Download this book or pick it up in whatever format you need to. It started immediately… You will not be sorry!!! Warning : Make sure you have a fire extinguisher handy because this book is incendiary ! Proceed with caution but DO PROCEED!

Wonderful Audio of a Jilted Bride

The narration by Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton and Jason Clarke really added to this story of Aubrey, Dev and Ledger. Aubrey is getting ready to be married but secretly having second thoughts when her groom comes rushing in to hopefully break it off -- he kind of does but still wants to have benefits on the side. She's outraged. Her brother's best friends are ushers for the wedding and didn't like the way the fiance was acting at the bachelor party. They see him leave and her brother asks them to take care of her. They provide the get-away vehicle and have a great afternoon. They decide to go on her honeymoon to help her feel better. They end up doing that and fulfilling all their fantasies. Even though they decided up front that this had an end date of the honeymoon time, can they extend their relationship after they get back to hockey and real life? I really liked the way they all thought of ways to make things special for the others. The narration was wonderful. The extra story at the end was great, too.

Flirty, fun, and steamy hockey romance!

I have been loving this MFM hockey series and this was by far my favorite so far. "Thoroughly Pucked" is flirty, fun and oh so steamy hockey romance that pulled me in from the beginning and I loved every moment of Aubrey, Ledger and Dev's story so much.

Aubrey is dressed and ready to get married, but something doesn't feel right. And when her groom comes to let her know that he's not ready to give up playing the field. Her brother steps in and asks two of his friends and hockey clients, Ledger and Dev, to help her runaway from the venue. With a nonrefundable honeymoon planned for the next day, two extra tickets are bought and the three of them end up in the honeymoon suite with only one bed.

From the first chapter, I was hooked on the story and could not stop listening. I loved Aubrey from the beginning and connected with her from the start. She's caring, smart, genuine and went through a crazy situation. Ledger and Dev became her saviors and friends when she needed it the most. Ledger is a grumpy plant daddy on the outside but has a soft, gooey middle that I loved. Dev gives all the golden retriever vibes and wants to make Aubrey feel better right from the start. They had a great friendship that developed into something more naturally. And those spicy scenes were spiiccyyyy. As a whisky drinker, I have a whole new appreciation for it now. Swords never cross between the Ledger and Dev but that's okay with me. They were solely focused on Aubrey and I'm all about that for her. My favorite part was how much personal growth the three of them had. They were all going through something but worked on that before they could be together which made this relationship even more special.

Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, and Teddy Hamilton narrated in duet and I loved listening to them bring Lauren's words alive. Samantha's flirty and sultry voice was perfect for Aubrey. Jason does a fantastic job as the grumpy plant Daddy, Ledger. And Teddy is always fun to listen to and was great as the golden retriever goalie, Dev. Their three distinctive voices were the perfect choices for this book.

Fun and steamy times 3

Lauren Blakely’s newest MFM Hockey Romance, Thoroughly Pucked, is fun, very steamy, and with a bit of hockey hunkiness thrown in for good measure. You’ll find quite a few tropes in Thoroughly Pucke like runaway bride, MFM, grumpy hero, sunshine heroine and hero, big muscley hockey guys, and brother’s best friends which makes for a super fun HOT read and audiobook. I loved all the characters, Aubrey, Ledger, and Devon, because Lauren truly knows how to write characters with depth. You get a well developed back story which enhances the main storyline and gives reason/purpose to how the character behaves/makes decisions (good, bad, or avoid what is right in front of him/her). When Aubrey’s wedding goes array her brother asks his two best friends to get her out of the venue and take care of her. During their time together all three begin to question their feelings about themselves and their relationship. If someone asked me who my favorite character was I could easily choose Ledger. He’s a rugged, muscley hockey loving man with a passion for plants. He’s also discovering his love for Aubrey along with his best friend Devon. All three embark on Aubrey’s non-refundable honeymoon and decide to have an end date of when they return. Will these three let their hearts lead them to a forever love? Aubrey, Ledger, and Dev are amazing characters that project all the feels in this story whether you read or listen to the audio. The audio is narrated by Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke(Ledger), and Teddy Hamilton(Dev). These three give a stellar performance that brings this story to life in your ears. Samantha Brentmoor has narrated all 3 female characters in this hockey series so far. Samantha’s voice is smooth, easy to listen to,and you can just feel her passion and emotions through her voice. Teddy Hamilton is a great Devon. Dev’s character is pretty cool, fun, pretty sure of himself, passionate, and can banter. Now, let’s talk about Jason Clarke’s performance, WOW! I am absolutely in love with his voice. Jason Clarke’s voice is smooth, deep, has a wide range, and just drives me wild especially when that voice is really deep during the steamy scenes. There are multiple scenes that are sooo HOT. Lauren Blakely can write a between-the-sheets like no other, whether it is a MF or MFM scene they are HOT! I thoroughly enjoyed Thoroughly Pucked by Lauren Blakely. If you like Why Choose tropes, strong, well-developed, and beautiful characters(inside and out) then I think you’ll like this story too.

Great way to start the new year!! This book was HOT HOT HOT but also swoony!! I am really enjoying this series! I love a great MFM and it's no surprise the Lauren Blakely delivers this with everything I want and more! The way they end up all together seems a little crazy just because I can't imagine Aubrey with Aiden (her ex) because he is such a douche lol. She definitely fit so much better with Ledger and Dev, all 3 of them have great chemistry and similar dreams. I loved how hot they were together but I also loved how sweet they were and how the connection was real! The ending was exactly what I needed it to be!!!

The narration of course was perfect!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton and Jason Clarke, all are amazing narrators!

Totally Pucked is also included in this audiobook too :)

Loved it!!

Thoroughly Pucked is a mfm why choose hockey romance and I loved Aubrey, Dev and Ledger. Aubrey is left at the alter and Ledger and Dev come to her aid when escaping the wedding. I loved the flirty banter between them and how naturally it came to all of them. One of the best things was they were open and honest with each other. Dev and Ledger were, sweet, swoony I loved that they put what Aubrey wanted first. This one became my favorite of the series!

Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke and Teddy Hamilton narrate this book in duet and each voice fit their character perfectly. Samantha is brought to life Aubrey’s sweet personality to life. Teddy was great bringing out Dev’s playful personality and no one does broody like Jason. The cast for this one was amazing and I enjoyed how much they brought the to life.
