Publisher's summary

Her dream wedding has fallen to pieces…but her love story has just begun. Lose your heart to this scripted, multicast rom com featuring an immersive soundscape!

Hanna is devastated when just a few weeks before her wedding, her fiancé drops the bomb that he doesn’t want to marry her. With the wedding bought and paid for (and completely non-refundable!), she decides to give it away to a deserving couple. Hanna chooses a pair of strangers that fate seems to put in her path, and then embarks on rearranging the wedding details with the help of the new bride-to-be’s brother. As Eric helps her make the final flower selections, put the finishing touches on the cake, and fine tune the other romantic details, something unexpected starts to happen. They find themselves falling for each other. Is Hanna’s broken heart to blame for pulling her toward Eric, or is this the beginning of something real and lasting?

Cute Book!

I always love romance audio books with a multi-cast. Whenever I listen to one, I feel fully immersed in the story. This book was short and sweet, but I loved every moment of it. While listening, it felt like I was watching a romance movie; I couldn't get enough of it! This book left me feeling warm and cozy.

Old time radio show vibe

I was a little put off at first with it at first but then I loved it. It reminded me of the old time radio shows. You have the dialogue and the background noises like you are listening to a movie. The only downfall is unfortunately you don’t get descriptions of the people or places.

The heroine(s): Hanna - after witnessing a marriage proposal at a table near where she and her fiancé are eating dinner, her fiancé calls off their wedding which was to take place in a few weeks. She finds out that her wedding is fully paid for and non-refundable which she paid for.

The Hero(s): Eric - the brother of the woman proposed to at the table next to Hanna. Eric is single and owns his own Web design company. He lives for himself and doesn’t plan on getting married anytime soon.

The Story: Hanna decides to donate her wedding to another a couple, so she posts on social media that her fully paid for wedding is up for grabs. Meanwhile the newly engaged couple that was at the next table on that fateful day, gets news that causes them to want to tie the knot as soon as possible.

Hanna meets Eric and ends up with selecting them to get her wedding. Eric helps with the final arrangements for his sister’s wedding. Hanna initially thinks Eric is obnoxious, but while working together, they find that they are great together.

Note that this was short for a book, but lasted about as long as a TV movie (just under 2 hours), but well worth it. This was an audible original and had a full cast including background noise, like restaurant noises, street noises, opening things, tripping and falling, and more. I definitely plan to listen to more like this one with a full cast. It was completely enjoyable and easy to listen to. I loved it.

Sweet & Heartwarming

Loved how the actors really worked well together. The talented narrators really shined in their characters. The storyline was light and held my interest. The ending although to some predictable, did leave a little unexpected surprise. I would LOVE to have this turn into a full series with recurring characters and a few new ones. Definitely one of the best multi-narrated audiobooks.
