showed promise, but...
I liked the possibility that this author was creating a new world. However, I have been reading books all year referencing or with witch in the title, and some were cliché and others were a wonderful new world, but this really has nothing to do with witches. It felt like they were trying to explain new age concepts.
it felt like YA, but then they, almost as an afterthought, through in sexual content. I didn't want to finish, but I did.

Love, Love, Love this book
I love this book and was very excited to get to book 2. I was Quickly disappointed when I started to listen to book 2. The narration is done by the author. I can only hope that the people that advise him quickly realize that they need to Record Book two with the original narrator. Be warned if you start book two, you're gonna quickly realize that it's hard to deferentiate characters because his voice does not change enough to represent each Character.
