A Twist of Fate

Great start to a series! FMC has been through a lot but in the end she gets exactly what she was looking for in a Mafia mate.

excellent and gripping

I really liked the story plot and HEA. The action and characters were real and fluid.

I loved it!

I found this book through a wonderful group I’m a member of. I was in a slump looking for a mafia romance that I might enjoy. I found it in this book. I’ve never listened to this author before but I’ve already bought the second book! I loved the narrators. I loved MMC accent. And the MFC had to do accents as well. I’ve heard her before in Sadie Kincaid books, but I really enjoyed her here. I noticed there are different narrators in the second book but it’s a story about different people so I get it. I recommend!

Loved It!

This is the best story I have listened to in a long time. I'm so glad I found it! The characters were very good and the story was balanced out and believable... had just enough of everything. The female main character didn't make me sick. lol This was a very well put together story. I loved it.

Dark mafia Romance

So a little of a slow start but not that bad. Good voice actors and the chemistry are so great. Love the scenes between the ML and FL. The guy gets about pleasing a woman.

This is a well written book and so worth the time

I love dark mafia romances. My guilty pleasure. This book possessed all the right buttons. A great plot, good characters, a believable story, and fantastic narration. I am highly recommending this book. In fact, I can't wait for book two. Excellent book Ms. Gabrielle Sands, this is a keeper!

Mafia perfection

I haven’t had that much fun reading a mafia book in so long. I loved this. I can’t wait for book 2 to be on audio!

So so good. Best Mafia book

So, I have read quite a lot of Mafia romances. This one is so good. Interesting differences from other books. And, the mafia stuff is super believable. Some very highly rated mafia romances make absolutely zero sense from the mafioso’s perspective (making really dumb security decisions or just connections to the mafia life that are completely implausible). This one was great. Believable but also fresh. Loved it. Can’t wait for the next story in this series!

FYI, seems like the general plot from this will continue throughout the series, but this couple’s romance appears to conclude here. No cliff hangers. But I still want to know what happens next!
