Publisher's summary

The teacher and the student. The stable hand and the single dad. First times and friendship turn to love.

Toby

There’s nothing attractive about a 24 year old virgin, especially not one who blushes every time a hot dude looks his way. But I can’t help the heat that ripples through me every time I see Cole Maguire. And the clench of my heart when I realise how unhappy he is. He’s a city boy with a baby on his hip - we have nothing in common - but if he can teach me how to own my sexuality, perhaps I can teach him he’s worth loving.

Cole

I don’t like horses. But I love my daughter, and there’s nothing I won’t do for her, including leaving the city for life on a farm. I’m ready for that, but I’m not ready for blushing stable hands who make my heart race and my blood run hot. Toby has no idea how beautiful he is. I can teach him that, if he can handle the heat, but after one night with him...damn.

Maybe it’s me that has a lot to learn.

The Sex Coach is an MM summer romance with first times, a virgin stable hand, a single dad pilates teacher, and guaranteed happy ending.

Good Story But Confusing Narration

The chemistry between Toby & Cole was noticeable from the moment they met and only got stronger throughout their story. I appreciated the fact that things seemed to move well for them the entire time. One issue I did have was, while I usually love Dan Calley's narrations, I wish the characters had a bit more distinction between their voices. It got a bit confusing at times trying to figure out who was talking.

Two lonely men find love on Whisper Farm

Toby and Cole don’t get close to people. Until they meet and are drawn to each other. As they get to know each other, the heat builds. But they both have to trust that the other will stay.

We also see other characters from the author’s Skins series as they interact on the farm

Dumb title, good story

Dumb title, good story. Excellent accents. Neurotic inhibited pair find ways to come together. I loved the setting, modern England but an area with horses & surfing.

A Skins Universe Continuation

Audio: 4 stars ... Dan Calley's narration is always superb!
Story: 3.5 stars ...

I enjoyed this one... although it felt like a bit of a departure from what I've come to expect from Leigh. For me, it seemed to lack some of the emotional depth/complexity and beautiful character arcs that I usually love from this author. That said it was still a wonderful read. All of the cameos were lovely, it was delightful seeing what all of these boys were up to from a different perspective. While it can be read as a stand-alone, I think readers would greatly benefit and enjoy it a lot more when read with the rest of the Skins series.

Loved this story and the narration!

A sweet, sexy, low angst love story. I loved the ML's and thier chemistry was sizzling. The bedroom scenes were intimate and hot. I liked that they didn't take very long to decide that they were into each other, and that the pace of the book didn't lag moving their relationship forward perfectly. The narration was fabulous, I love Dan Calley's voice...so warm and sexy!

Sweet and Tender with Loads of Chemistry

I’m not sure what I’m thinking picking up a Garrett Leigh book before bed and expecting to not be up til all hours of the night!? I was so caught up in Toby and Cole that I woke up this morning with my phone still propped on the pillow the way I’d been reading it when I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore! Toby is a stable hand at Joe’s ranch and he does a lot of work, Cole is Harry and Rhys’ friend who had to move to stay close to his infant daughter. I love that Ella played a part in the growth of the story but wasn’t the main focus. Toby was smitten from the beginning with Cole but he had never acted on his attraction to men even though he knew he was at the very least bisexual. Cole was just as attracted to Toby who was skittish and didn’t believe anyone would want him, he was nothing special. Their tentative friendship built from the sexual nature of their coming together. Watching the whole thing build from that and all the emotions and self realizations that came with it is par for the course for a Garrett Leigh book! While this story isn’t an actual part of the Skins series, it helps having read those to understand the relationships and friendships between Toby and the guys. As always her worlds interconnect and that’s part of what I love so much about her books. There’s a lot of explosive chemistry but there’s also a lot of sweet and tender moments and heartwarming aspects. I could keep rambling forever about how much I loved this book! Definitely a Five Star read and I expect nothing less from Garrett!

Dan Calley adds an extra layer to the story with his narration! You feel all the feels extra well because his emotion comes through so clearly. I love that I know which series a character comes from based on the accents and nuances from Dan. His narration is spectacular and I can’t recommend anything he narrate enough, but especially if it’s a Garrett Leigh book!!

loved, loved, loved toby and cole!!

Oh Man, was this good! Toby is a blushing 24-year-old virgin. Cole is a Pilates instructor that has moved to the farm to help out for a while. He also has an 8-month-old daughter. They have an immediate attraction to one another but deny it only so long. When Toby admits he’s never been with a man before, Cole offers to be a sex coach. I loved Toby and his blushes!! Dan Calley does a really good job with the narrative. Well done!!

3.5 stars

I honestly am shocked this story didn’t work more for me. I love the series this is a spin-off of and absolutely love the setting. The narration is easy with an enjoyable cadence. And yet…something didn’t work. I never felt pulled into the story or that drive to listen at every available moment, which is very not the norm for me and this author. That said, the story is solid and the characters lovely so I think this might just be one of those one offs I failed to connect with for no particular reason

Narration confusing

I have listened to several books narrated by Dan Calley and I like his voice. However, I found this book very confusing with little differentiation among characters voices. I had to rewind several times to figure out which character was talking, and had to often guess based on context. As a result, the listening experience was not as enjoyable as I would’ve liked. The story was good not great. I would love to know more about secondary characters. Perhaps additional stories are coming.
