Good and Bad

There were some good tips and some outdated tips. I don’t think this book really helped me with my difficult coworker, but it did go over some interesting ways to deal with people. I personally don’t think touching a coworker is ever appropriate and the author suggest touching hands, arms, or shoulders when a person is upset. I personally would not like anyone touching me and it would make me feel on edge if they did. There were good suggestions on how to stop annoying people from talking to you. There wasn’t anything about how to deal with coworkers who aren’t team players, who don’t hold their weight at work, or who constantly have errors is their work. Obviously the author would say take these concerns to your boss, but not all bosses are responsive to complaints.
