Publisher's summary

Sent forward in time, this 15th-century Highland warrior finds himself face to face with his destiny—a fiery modern-day lass, whose reaction is far from what he expected.

Celeste Lowell is no stranger to loss. Two years after her best friend mysteriously disappeared, and even longer since the tragic deaths of her parents and brother, Celeste still misses them all. Clinging to a cryptic message from a centuries-old crone—that her best friend is safe, and happy in the place where she belongs—Celeste continues to go through the motions, preparing for a working summer in the Hamptons, a respite from her lonely routine.

Scotland 1431—Darach MacKenna is a warrior without a home. Shocked by a deathbed revelation, Dar learns of his true parentage and now feels like he doesn’t belong—with his family, with his brethren, even in his own keep. Hungry for purpose, Dar sets off on a dangerous errand to deliver a message in the unknown future, unsure if he’ll ever be able to return to his own time.

As Celeste and Dar embark on a journey from the future to the past, they believe they have a hold on their destiny. Yet, as is always the case, it’s Madame Fate who is truly in charge. Don’t miss the latest Lairds of the Crest novel, as houses and hearts—and past and present—collide in another captivating time-travel tale.

Awesome!

I loved this book! The story, the writing and even the narration was incredible. The characters are so likable and the writing is very clever…I laughed out loud on several occasions and loved how this booked made me feel.

Wow! Another Great Book that doesn't Disappoints.

3rd book is just another great listen. Again, Kim writes another book worthy of a last credit. It's worth every penny.
She has done a fabulous job to write a 3rd book & make it as interesting as the first 2.
Again, the narrator does a good job of interchanging voices with the other books & their original voices.
I would also say here again that listening to the books is no hardship for me. In fact, it's often for busy people the best way.
If you have an issue with listening, the book here again the book is GREAT!!!
We all have a time when you just can't keep listening. I would say buy the book or Kindle. Kim gives you the tools to bring the book alive. Especially if you have an active imagination.
For me, having the opportunity to do both is a great experience.
My one wish is that although Alex isn't a Laird, he deserves a book or maybe a short story. 🤔 I would love to know who agrees.
