Publisher's summary

She's a famous songwriter who can't remember a year of her life. He's the British spy with all the answers.

While walking through the tunnels of her family's estate in England, successful singer-songwriter Amanda Marceau travels through time and into the arms of Alexander Montgomery, the Royal Navy Admiral who captures her heart. Months later, Amanda's forced back to the present with Alexander's daughter, heartbroken they've been separated and shocked to discover she's pregnant.

Hoping Alexander will find his way through time to her, she's later devastated to learn he was killed for being a spy at the dawn of the American Revolution. Unable to cope with the horrible consequences, Amanda suffers an epic breakdown and tucks away the memories that are just too much for her to bear.

But Alexander Montgomery wasn't executed, nor has he forgotten Amanda. He's spent each day planning, searching for, and finding his wife and his daughter. He's made the jump through time and is using everything at his disposal to reunite his family in the 21st century. Then he learns that Amanda has amnesia - she can't remember the time she spent in 18th-century Britain - and has no idea who he is.

More determined than ever, Alexander knows it will take all of his love to restore her memory - or just maybe win her heart anew.

Don't pass up a good read! or listen 🤭🤐

The Prophecy in my opinion was almost the perfect book! If you like old school time travel like Janet Chapman's or Sandra Hill you will love this book. If your too young for then this is the book! If you dont get it in the 1st 5 minutes keep listening bec all is revealed very soon. I would have wrote it the same way! Especially after The Prophecy trilogy.
What touched my soul in The Prophecy was for 15 years I always answered my hubby as "Husband" man it bothered alot of peeps. When you been married to the same guy since you were 16 you have to change it up! Now he is hubster. However I do agree they do call each others name a bit much. BUT IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE STORY! However 🚨🚨SPOILER ALERT 🚨🚨 I am wondering where the other previous time traveler is from the other series 🤔? I am thinking its in the next book. We shall see.

Gripping and beautiful love story

A love that transcends time... wow, does this book have it! I am huge fan of time travel romances and this one has far exceeded my expectations. It is a slight twist from the normal she/he travels to a different place and Boom! They now have a new world to live in, they immediately fall in love and someone makes a choice to stay or go. This one is so much better for the uniqueness of the plot.

Excellent character development. The characters are so alive and relatable because they experience real emotions, real pains, and real struggles and they are not your normal platitudes.

I have listened to 2 of Kim’s books now. I want more!

Bloody Hell x 100

Story was okay but way too drawn out for my liking. I hope the other books in this series will be written more like the Prophecy.

Nope

Really hard to follow. I found myself having to go back to almost to beginning several times just to get a grasp on the story. To be fair, that could’ve been my fault. I tend to multitask while listening . Anyway, the story became contentious and annoying. Remember the movie Titanic with Jack and Rose? And it seemed all Rose did was call out Jack’s name? And the same with Jack always calling out Rose’s name? This happened so many times in this book that it became grating. If there is a deeper storyline, I couldn’t find it. I will be skipping the second book.

Not my favorite

I love Kim Sakwa's books, she is an amazing writer, but for some reason this book felt like it was written by someone else. It just drug on and on and on....
The storyline was confusing, boring, repetitive and it just wasn't well written. I am hoping the Brothers Montgomery Series will get better with the next story.
As always Marian Hussey's narration performance is awesome.
