Great continuation from the first book

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The author seems to be a master in story telling. Even though this book can be listened to as a standalone, the story is more enjoyable if you already listened or read the first book.
The suspense and turn of events is breathtaking.
My only small critic is that the French accent in parts of the narration is "not so French" :) but this is not, by any means a deal breaker for me. I still enjoyed the book and will definitely buy the third book in the series.

Excellent intrigue, so many secrets!

Nathan Grant was introduced to us in the previous book. In this book Nathan is sent to Paris to do something he never thought he would! When Nathan meets his victim things really take a twist and Nathan decides maybe he should do some investigating himself. Nathan gets in so far over his head we just never know what might happen next. I found it interesting meeting the characters in this book and especially learning their backgrounds. Nathan is a very smart man that is able to see things that most of us would never think of. He seems to be able to spend time at fancy places without spending a lot of cash as well as indulging in exquisite cuisine. We all need to learn how to get money to go as far as he does. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to listening to more of them. The author has done an excellent job writing a great book and narrator Alex Freeman brings it to life beautifully.
I received a free code for this book from the publisher to listen to on Audible. This review is my own honest opinion.

Far fetched story

Narrator should learn the proper pronunciation of locations. Attempts at French are execrable.
I do not recommend this book.
