Useful Discussion of Research re Ageing

Like the study of genetic pluses and minuses, studies of large populations to sort out habits that build resilience. Did not know that getting past 80s could mean pretty smooth sailing in 90s. Sorry to say some discussion got pretty technical, but overall the articles were ok for a general reader (or listener). Thankfully, there is a thought that aging, meaning encountering hallmarks of aging (heart disease, cancer, diabetes, dementia), is going to be avoidable.

Great information

Really enjoyed the content and the viewpoint was also different. The short chapters were helpful and easy to listen to in the car.

Great collection of articles

If you want to know how to increase your chances of having a long, healthy, and vibrant life, here's what science currently has to say on the subject. This is a collection of articles, mostly from Scientific American. Expect some repetition of information since the articles are from different authors and written at different times. Overall, though, most listeners will glean a lot of useful information. Here's hoping a lot of health care practitioners will discover this as well.

Es una buena investigación acerca de la longevidad, y si esta comprovado que a mayor actividad fisica se es más longevo

Nice compilation of articles

Lots of interesting information about the knowns and unknowns of aging. In my opinion, Would have been better if there had been a final summation of what we can do with what is known today to healthfully age. Would have appreciated something more actionable. Narration was well executed.

Good information but technical at times. Too many acronyms.

It’s very good to know that all this important work is going on. For the normal reader, there are too many new acronyms. After all, for the audiobook, you can’t just flip back to the previous page to see what it means.
