A great story about a hard man

I can't describe the book other then saying it was epic. the main character was a foolish man who led with his balls and head. the kind of character who could be the hero or that joke of a person who dies. read this book! and you will know what I mean

Entertaining.

This was a very entertaining, interesting and somewhat tragic trilogy . I laughed a lot and I cried some, but it was enjoyable. I did not care for the sometimes unintelligible swearing. I felt it diminished the books. The narrator was just okay but I loved the overall premise.

Nice complete series

The story was good. The reader was mehh. I could never distinguish who was who based on the voice. The story could have ended with after book 2 and they could have lived happily ever after. Also the MC swore so much it made him difficult to understand half of the time. Also there were a couple sex/sexual scenes that could have been left out, they really served no purpose.

Excellent ..... don’t think just get it!!!!

I have over 400 audiobooks in my library and this is my second review I’ve written. I really enjoyed this trilogy very well written and especially enjoyed the narrators gruff thick voice and accent!!!!!! I will add if cursing offends you this book is not for you..... but I enjoyed it and felt the necessity for it about the characters...... I can’t wait to see if Whisky continues in the next chapter for this series or does something new.... can’t wait!!!!!! Do your self a favor and get his books.... put on headphones and get sucked up in to Whiskeys work and enjoy

Strong lead.

I get sick and tired of whiney conflicted lead characters Tanner is neither. Strong sure and competent describe Tanner that's what I love about him and narrator was awesome one of my new favorites.

Bloody fantastic. Lots of grit and a kick in the teeth. I highly recommend this trilogy.

Great Story and MC

Mean, stubborn, but honest and loyal MC. Great story about average Joe becoming a bad ass fighter and anti-mage.

Accents

The story was good and kept moving and held my interest. The performance was only OK because the accents made it difficult to understand (sometimes).
