The Love Slave

Very spicy, well told story about a girl becoming a Love Slave in the 945 ad

I did think that it could have been edited better as there were times going along that the volume would go up and then come back to normal. It was annoying.

Another Incredibly Beautiful Romance!

I have read this book so many times and never get tired of it! No other author like Bertrice Small can write like her!
I absolutely loved this storyline and fell in love with Zaynab and Karim ❤️. What a whirlwind romance and attention to details!
I will definitely listen 🎧 to this book again.

Some people are upset about the age of the females, but this was the way of life in this time of age.

Even through all of the trauma, she still made it through life.

Love In A Foreign Land

Kudos to Heather Wild for her brilliant narration and multitude of voices and accents. She made this story of ancient Córdoba’s rule under the Moors come alive with all the sounds and smells of the old market places of Afrika.

Bertrice Small is a master of knowledge pertaining to the subjects of which she writes. Not only can she help us to picture the landscape but also accurately paint the characters to fill that landscape. In addition, she gives us a History lesson couched within the love story. A most enjoyable read!

Great story, Narrater ruined it a little.

It’s a great story! I loved the story, and love the author. I have read it multiple times, first time listing to it as an audio book. I was not a fan of the narrator though. To many pauses, and not enough flow with her reading. Beatrice small has had other narrators with her other books that have done splendidly with narrating and keeping me inthralled. I just had trouble listing to this narrator.

Deliciously entertaining

This is a beautiful and enchanting story. I loved how it transported me to this distant yet prosperous and evolved time scented with exotic flowers and spices. The narrator Heather Wilds was amazing throughout voicing each character so convincingly I could swear it had been recorded with a full cast. Thank you for over 14h of pure unadulterated pleasure!!
