The worst narration ever!
I really wonder if Bertrice Small ever heard this atrocity? The woman narrating this wonderful book absolutely did a horrible job. Her high and whiny voice made listening very unpleasant. She mispronounced so many words and names.

I couldn't finish
I don't tent to write reviews often, but I also hardly ever not finish a book. I could not make it. I understand it was set in medieval time, but my mind can't wrap around marriage at 14, cousins marrying, multiple wives, etc. I wanted to like this book, but half way through it just hit my line. I'm not going to sit here and scream bad about this book. This is more of a warning to other readers. If these things don't bother you then it's probably a good book, but if these items cross your line, now you know, don't bother.
