Publisher's summary

Nightmares are plaguing Little Feather.

Is it nothing, or is it something much more sinister? When more and more people start complaining about having horrible nightmares, Miranda starts to wonder if there’s more to it. Could something supernatural be causing the nightmares? And if so, how do you stop something that you can only see in your dreams? She’s not sure, but as the only person who stands between the paranormal world and humans, it’s her responsibility to figure it out. Thankfully, she has a team of friends to help her, as well as her corgi, Hank. But when it comes down to it, will she be able to save them?

Fun Paranormal Cozy Mystery

Parents: PG-PG13 this is acceptable for middle school on up
Language: PG
Violence: PG13 - normal to genre, nothing overly graphic
Sexual content: PG13 - fairly clean, kissing and alluded to bedroom activities but it stays behind closed doors

This was the only book in this series I have read, so I did feel a bit lost with who was what type of paranormal being at times and a few relationships obviously had more backstory but it didn't really effect the main storyline or plot. I do think it would probably be better if read in order. I did enjoy the book, it's a paranormal cop type of mystery which I thought was fun. It does have a creepy edge, but I would say it has more of a thriller edge to the mystery. Overall, fun read for the paranormal cozy mystery fan.

The narrator has good differentiations and was easy to listen to. I did prefer listening at 1.25x speed.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Good story

I liked this story (would have been better if I had read/listened to the previous ones and that is why I removed one star from story). The characters were likable and the storyline was well done though I felt a little lost having not heard the previous ones. Being a little lost though didn't keep me from not enjoying the book totally just left me feeling slightly lost. The worldbuilding was done well and the narrator did a great job I though with the characters. Overall the book was pleasant to listen to and I enjoyed the mystery aspect. I received this book with promotional credit and this is my honest review.

A fast-paced cozy mystery

The cast of characters and side stories were interesting. Especially Eve. I'm curious enough to want to read prior stories to get her full back story.

Miranda is likeable, smart, and dedicated to saving those under her protection. In this case, she is the only one who can save the entire town from nightmares. At the same time, she must deal with issues in her personal life as well as supernatural troubles.

Amelia Mendez did a good job with the characters and story.

A good mystery

I enjoyed this story with all the characters within. The main character was Miranda.

Miranda lives in a small town that has magical creatures within the town.   All of the people are having nightmare and they want Miranda to try and find out what is happening. She and friends try to solve a mystery that is happening in town.

This was a fun story to read and listen to. It had action, adventure and suspense throughout. It had a few giggles within.  This is the seventh story in this series. It was fun trying to solve the mystery within.

I received a complimentary copy via Story Origin. The narrative on the audiobook did a good job too. This is my honest unbiased opinions.
