All of this was because of the dragon stone necklace I scavenged from that dead mage. I knew it was magic when I saw it. Well, it was and it wasn’t. Dragon stone, they call it, but what it actually is, is a dragon’s egg. When I touched it, I felt the need to put it around my neck for safekeeping. When I did, the necklace embedded itself inside my skin, making me the new dragon’s envoy. It has since been my duty to protect the egg until she’s ready to hatch. How do I know the egg is a she? Easy, she talks to me and is helping me to bring out my natural magic talents.

better than what I expected
Found this book buy mirror chance. Overall a very great read with plenty of action, little romance, mystery and surprising twist and turns. definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.

Very entertaining!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The narration was great and I enjoyed all of the main characters. At the end it left me really wanting to start the second book immediately.

Great start to the trilogy
This book is well written and the narrator was perfect. The characters and story were engaging and kept me interested. Can’t wait for the rest of the trilogy to come out!

Love it!!!
Love this book!
This book is so good. I love these characters.
I recently started getting into these epic fantasy books and I have to say I’m not disappointed and this genre. They can be very addicting, and this book is an example of not wanting to put a book down.
Tim Campbell did such a great job on the narration. I could listen to him all day long. All the characters get their own voices and you know who’s talking. Such a treat to listen to this narration.

Worth the precious credit
I enjoyed the story building. The story slowly draws you in. While the plot is familiar it has enough twist to keep your mind engaged. Lookin forward to Book II
