A classic but efficient collection

The stories chosen to be part of this collection are the most classic, but that does not mean that it is wrong, on the contrary, in my opinion it has been an incredible decision, but these stories never fail to give us that feeling of suspense and terror that we like so much.

Great book horrible narrator

The narrator is awful. Very unnatural. Couldn’t stand it one bit not even for a second.

tied for my favorite

Narrator is great. He sounds like the announcer guy from the video game Crackdown. Stories are great. Can't go wrong with classic horror in my opinion. Tied with The Word of Promise Audio Bible for my favorite audio book.

I'll just read it myself, thank you

I tried getting into this multiple times because I love each of these stories so much. The reading is unbearable, I'd rather listen to someone chew glass.

The Stories, of course, are great. BUT!

The narration of Dracula was horrible. It seemed to be done by either someone who had never heard spoken English or possibly by A.I. The intonation was flat and the sentences were riddled by unnatural pauses. It got a little better when I upped the speed to 1.2X. That made the pauses less noticeable without sounding too unnaturally high. Around chapter 7 I finally got a different audible version of Dracula which was very enjoyable to listen. I started Jekyll and Hyde in this volume. Seems to be the same narrator as Dracula, but seems to have a few less unnecessary pauses. I don't know if I will continue to listen. Get this Audible book at your own risk.
