The greatest poem ever written
Too bad the narrator insists on trying to croak the raven’s lines. Other than that it is a decent performance, but that silly croaking brings it down. All the same The Raven is possibly the greatest poem ever written. Worth listening to in most any performance.

entertaining
Dominic West was quite entertaining with this reading. My only complaint is that I like when this piece is read with less dramatic flair and in a more traditional sense. Somehow it feels like the poem looses something. My husband, also a Poe fan, feels that cadence is off.
