love the narrator, story was ok

The story jumps around disjointedly, and would benefit from a good editor. The H is honorable, whereas the heroine is unbelievably gullible and walks into every trap like a simpleton. There are gaps in the storyline which gives the impression that the book was rushed.

Nice story

I liked this story and the main characters. The main male character is honorable, strong and kind. The story had some parts where the women were were treated in a rough manner, but with the exception of that initial scene that set up the story everything else resolved nicely.
The steamy scenes were nice and well earned. Excellent narrator.

great story

great story, great characters, great writing. just great! looking forward to the next book. Tim Campbell is my favorite narrator. His voice is unmatched. I have a hard time listening to others. so worth the credit. enjoy!!

Great Highland tale!

With confusion, misguided loyalty, and greed, this story was colorful and full of action. The romance took time and forced proximity to develop and was nicely done. The characters were flawed but not necessarily bad, with the exception of one or two. The story was so good. I couldn't put it down and want to read more from this series. Excellent job by the narrator bringing this book to life.

Surprises!

Without giving away anything, I’ll just say that there were a few surprises in the relations between some of the kin and I found it really refreshing! Honestly the only negative about this story for me was the narration. In some parts he spoke so quickly I couldn’t process what he was saying, with that British accent. Shouldn’t the narration been of a Scottish brogue rather?

Enjoyed this audiobook very much! Fun listen with lots of action and fun times. Narration was excellent!

A Delightful Story

Though some parts seemed far fetched, over all I found the story a positive, encouraging, and sweet story of forgiveness and rewarding outcomes.

Highlander Romance

This Highlander romance was very nice. I found myself staying up late at night to finish it. It was quite good. The beginning was definitely graphic but not the rest of the book. It was slow burn romance. It had mild drama between main characters throughout their romantic journey. It had enough action and banter to keep the story going. The narrator is also quite good.
