This was such a great story that I didn’t mind the mild spice. I look forward to more from the author.

Michael Farriaoulo was just perfection!

Oh I just adored this book! It was everything I was hoping for and more. Cassel finally gets his turn to shine and get his man and I was so happy for him. We met Cassel in the Hitman series, and while this could stand alone, I highly recommend reading that series first to truly fall in love with all these characters. Everyone is back and in epic Alice Winter's style. We have the mystery, the action, the hilarity, and the romance. Everything was done so well. Cassel, who always seemed to take a back seat to Leland previously, finally gets his turn to show us, and Jeremy, what he can do and it was glorious.  Great story, intense action, humor that made me snort out loud, and a sweet HEA for Cassel and Jeremy! I couldn't have asked for anything more. This truly was Cassel and Jeremy's story with the perfect amount of  Leland, Jackson, and Henry along for the ride! I hope there is more planned in the future for this found family!

I love this!

I'm so happy that Cassell got his own book and his HEA! The Former Assassin's Guide to Snagging a Reluctant Boyfriend is so freaking good! It's intense but it's so fun at the same time. It's so dang funny. I 'bout died laughing. Cassel is a badass! I want to climb in this story and live with the characters. I love Henry, he makes my heart squish. He just adopts all these crazies. Lol
I bought the audio books after I read this series and I'm going through and listening to them. Michael Ferraiuolo does so well, I love his narration and his voice is so sexy! I really hope we get to hear more about Chaos in the future too!

I enjoy this series, and this was a nice addition to the "rag-tag" family these guys have created. Fun and snarky, with underlying layers of vulnerability, Cassel and Jeremy together make a delightful duo.

🎧 Narrator comment: Michael Ferraiuolo does a masterful performance bringing this story to life. He has good timing, rhythm, inflections and intonations and it's easy to distinguish the characters from each other. A thoroughly enjoyable performance and he bought the story and characters to life.

I’m so glad we got Cassel’s HEA

Ever since we met Cassel I wanted to see him have happiness. I’m glad we got this book that was just for him.
I knew there had to be some softness under all the gruff of Jer-Bear’s exterior. Once you hear about his past, you understood why he was the way he was.
This was a really fun addition to the series. There was a lot of funniness in this book, although not quite Leland funniness but Leland is unique in his hilarity. Cassel is one of those characters that you just want to hug because he’s such a sweetheart.
Pretty much everything that Alice writes is an auto-buy for me and this one was no different. Especially when paired with Michael Ferraiuolo. He brings all the characters to life like no other. This book was a win for me ❤️
