Narrator makes the dudes sound more “female” than the females

It was so confusing. I couldn’t tell who was talking most of the time until I heard a pronoun or name.

Amateur Voiceover

It's not that this is a bad story, it's just obvious that the person doing the voice work lacks experience. It's rough trying to listen to the very amateur production.

great stories BUT...

the narration was a joke. she constantly mispronounced words and studered through a good bit. some things were hard to understand because she didn't really bring out the different characters with a change of voice or tone. a lot of this series felt like long, run on sentences.
My final note will be this.... if the storyline wasn't so good, I wouldn't have finished.

lesson learned about listening to the sample before purchasing. It's not the story it's just the narration that I can't keep up with what's going on.

great story but the reader of the first few books.

great story. the reader, however needs some more experience. she uses the same tone of voice for male and female characters which makes it difficult sometimes to figure out who is speaking. furthermore, she needs to learn the correct pronunciation of some of her words. im surprised that the editor nor the producer corrected her pronunciation which included the heroine's name. at times it actually took me a second to realize what word she was actually trying to say. she was very fluent in her speaking so the book flowed and the story was worth listening to. the second reader sounded more experienced and the story flows better as she uses different voices with different characters and her vocabulary and pronunciations were more accurate. overall I enjoyed the series and I think its worth listening to just be aware that the first reader needs a little more time to develop.

Needs better narrator

I honestly think this should be a dual narration. This girl doesn't make an attempt to change tone during any situation in the story. The story itself has potential. Start with the narrator.

Disappointed

Was looking forward to listening to the series, but after 15 minutes couldn’t go on. The narrator ruined my entire experience. Will keep an eye out for her name in future and for the production company(she must be related to someone in the company) so that I won’t waste my money and time. Please remember to sample before you buy!!

Sorry but they need a better narrator!!! She mispronounces words and worse uses the wrong ones... infections are also in the wrong place... I would love to listen to this again with another narrator who has more experience...

Narration and predictable story

Narrator trips over words and the story is too predictable. Got about two hours in before I felt I could summarize the next two hours. Protagonists are blind to danger and don’t think ahead. Not sure I’ll even listen to the second book in this, it drags out when you know what’s going to happen.
