Decent listen

I wanted to love this book but the main character just bugged me. So indecisive and whinny. I had a hard time getting passed that. The end was the saving grace with a nice twist.

Good story, weird ending

The story was good overall, I even imagined it being an interesting movie, but the ending felt thrown together, as if the author was tired of it and just tossed a 25 minute ending together. I've noticed a lot of books have been this way lately... really a bummer. The narrator was great.

I could not finish it.

Despite the title, the book is not about a job. It is about a sick, unconventional and seemingly never-ending interview that no one in real life would submit to. The story was slow moving and I couldn’t finish it.

The narrator had vocal fry, and some of the characters sounded like cartoonish stereotypes.

I saw that the book and narrator received good reviews, but this one was not for me.

Absolutely loved this book

This book was hard to stop listening to I found myself totally immersed in it!

Mad/Happy/Furious/Stunned

This book had me have all those feelings. I wanted to stand with the main character but she totally ticked me off at numerous times. Then at other she was my rock! Very mixed book of characters and it kept me interested. Lee the ending hidden very well! Did not guess it until the last minute!

Just get it! It was amazing all the way through!! Keeps you interested throughout the entire listen.

Great & enjoyable until the ending ruins it. I went from thinking this was amazing to feeling like I'd wasted my time.

Clever story

It was easy to listen to and the path definitely was different than I expected.

Poorly developed, awful and ending

This is a book about the worst job interview where the job offer is worse than the process itself, and not in a mystery thriller way. This is the after school special of “mystery thrillers”.
