A short, simple, clean cozy mystery

The Deadly Fiery Affair is a short, simple, and clean murder mystery. The story provides a good hour or two of entertainment. This is a cozy mystery, and it is not overly deep nor is it disturbing.

The narrator does a decent job with the book. Her voice fits the story, and her characters’ voices, while not always convincing, are varied enough to avoid confusion.

I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Fire covers a murder

The Deadly Fiery Affair
By: K.M. Morgan
Narrated by: Stephanie Quinn
This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary. This is a murder mystery involving a fire that tries to cover up the murder. This was a shorter story. I didn't think the narration was as good as usual.

A Clean Cozy Mystery

Grandma Annie a dear friend calls Daisy Daisy McDare who is now married in this book. Daisy is and interior decorator and an amateur sleuth, Annie is crying says she is standing in front of her friends house and it is on fire. The storyline is well developed and the characters flow well with the storyline. Detective Crumple is on the scene awaiting results, is it an accidental fire or arson. This is a clean cozy mystery. I highly recommend this book.

Good story

Daisy gets called by a dear friend who is outside her goddaughter's burning house awaiting the fire department. When Daisy gets there, the body is brought out. Just when it seems that it can't get any worse, Detective Crumple tells them that the fire was arson, and later they find out that the woman was murdered before the fire was set. Not supposed to happen in such a nice small town! Now the real sleuthing begins and all the red herrings pile up. Good but short.
Stephanie Quinn is the narrator.

Fire of Love

A house fire ruins a beautiful day for Daisy. The fire was no accident - it was used to cover-up a murder. It turns out that love can burn in the heart and the mind. I was gifted this from the author.

Good story

I really liked the story and that there wasn’t any sex or violence. I look forward to more in the series. The only thing I did not like was the narrator’s voice when she was voicing a male character. They all sounded pretty much the same and as if they were constipated.

Mystery closer to home, good story, good narration

More in the life of Daisy McDare. I enjoyed the partnering of Detective Crumple and Daisy McDare Watson. They played off each other so well. Her family was growing as well, and everyone was so supportive. This was a murder that was a little closer to home. Clues were all there, and the ending was not a shock though it took a bit for me to get it. Stephanie Quinn did another wonderful job bringing these characters to life. I especially loved her voice for Granny Annie.

I received a copy of this audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.
