Slow Burn

I love a really good story and this one disappoint. This a new to me author and I loved her style. It has a wronged liver, fated mates, some angst and a baby so what’s not to love. I liked the slow burn factor - they took their time but once they admitted their feelings it was on! The narrator did an amazing job bringing cowboy Cain to life and the rest of story. Well worth the listen and read!

Amazing!!

This story is just amazing! I couldn't stop listening once I started. I read this before but OMG listening to it is just perfection. I love Nick J. Russo. He does an amazing job narrating this book that just pulls me even more into the story then before. I can't get over how much I love this book.

Amazing characters

Loved this story. The characters are all so lovable. You get a sweet pair with a baby on the way and a little dangerous on the side. Great listen. Narrator did a amazing job.

It was an interesting story. Still unclear if they were wolves or just shifters in general. Also not clear how Omega men can have babies, does that mean that Betas can't.

This is my favorite so far from Giovanna Reaves! The writing was great, the chemistry between the main characters was smokin' hot and I loved everything about it! Nick J Russo can do no wrong!

Sweet and fluffy

Oh I loved the dad's so much and the MCs are the sweetest. I've recently come across this author and really enjoy their writing style. Narration just makes it that much better.

great book!

Cole ran away from his abusive boyfriend after finding out he was pregnant. He refused to let his child be raised in that sort of environment. He fled to the ranch his parents worked at, in hopes of finding some peace before continuing to run.
Kane is running his family ranch and meets Cole the day he arrives. There is an instant attraction but both men fight against it, causing some ripples in their interactions. One day, they stop fighting the attraction and connection building between them, what they find is something worth holding onto - family and forever. Now, they just need to overcome some obsticles, like a crazy abusive ex.

This is a great story and characters. I love the interaction between the two men and their families and friends. The story was sweet, but also sexy. Definitely recommend this book.

The audiobook is narrated by Nick J. Russo who does a fantastic job giving each character their own voice with personality shining through. Added to the experience of the story. Great job!

Awwh. So Sweet.

This was a cute love story. There wasn't an insta- love type thing, although both MCs noticed their attraction. There were some hot moments., though and a little action. All in all nice Omega Mpreg romance. This is maybe the third or fourth book I've read by this author. I like her writing style and will definitely read or listen to more books by her.

The Cowboy's Baby is a Mpreg first of the series novel featuring a pregnant omega Cole Bradford who flees from his baby's abusive father to get a new start with his parents at the Black Meadow Ranch. He decides he'll handle his own problems and plans to move on to some other place safe from his ex when his fathers discover they will be grandparents. He agrees readily and takes time to find work in preparation for building a new life with his baby. He approached Kane Cartwriter, his parents' boss and manager for the Black Meadow ranch, for a job running a new cafe that will feature his baked goods.
Cole and Kane dislike each other initially but cannot deny their initial attraction to one another. Kane is a bit of a player but finds himself totally thrown off guard by the slick New Yorker. When Cole confesses he is pregnant, Kane finds he isn't put off by the pregnancy and is instead looking to provide protection for Cole who was left for dead with his old boyfriend beat on him. What's even more surprising to Kane is his forward to being a daddy for Cole's baby and sharing a life with him as a marital partner.
When things couldn't be better in his life, the FBI shows up to tell Cole that his ex is wanted for murdering a man and is on the run. Cole encounters the ex who tracks him down through internet advertising for his baked goods. It seemed that the ex owns a man lots of money and agreed to give Cole's baby to him as payment for the debt. Fortunate for Cole, new husband Kane (with some help) ended that!
I found Giovanna's Mpreg refreshingly different from what I have experienced in the past. I love that omegas are a norm in her universe and therefore the characters are just folks getting on with their lives. It leaves the reader free to focus on the meat of the narrative, which is how the protagonists grow to love and build a life together, overcome adversity, and find acceptance in their world. The world-building is wonderful and the conflict is credible and resolved in a plausible manner. I'm REALLY loving this author's writing style!
