Publisher's summary

This book was previously published in the anthology Gunsmoke and Gingham. This re-publication has been expanded to include 30 percent more story.

Olivia Barkley knows how to take care of herself. Growing up in an orphanage, she’s learned that good things don’t come easily and certainly don’t last forever. While escaping the unwanted advances of her employer, her path crosses with a man who made a promise he didn't keep.

Caleb Walker has lived a life of freedom among the spectacular Tetons, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Unexplained restlessness prompts him to leave his beloved mountains in search of answers. When he joins an expedition into the wilderness, he is shocked to come face-to-face with a woman from his long-forgotten past.

Caleb and Livy must find a way to come to terms with their unexpected meeting. If they can move beyond the guilt and misunderstandings of the past, they might discover that they were meant to be together all along.

This book contains kissing, mild language, and mild violence. It is a complete story with a happy-ever-after ending. Heat rating is PG.

The Tetons

This is another great story written by Peggy, that compliments all of her other stories in the series. This was a great follow up story on Caleb. I love how Peggy captures all of the details of the people and the scenery. I would highly recommend this book to anyone. I would also recommend that you read the series in order and get a better feel for the entire series. A+++ Great Job!!!!

Teton Season of Promise

Caleb stole my heart when he first appeared as the adorable chaperone in Teton Splendor (Teton Romance #2). I hoped at the time that I would learn what happened to him when he grew up and was thrilled to see his story added to the Teton Romance Collection. He was a lovable child and he grew into a wonderful young man. His act of heroism while facing down a wild animal was swoon-worthy.

Caleb's all grown up

I liked finding out what happened to Caleb after being adopted by Joseph and Sophie. They raised him right. There is something to the "nurture vs nature" theory. Good ending to the Teton/Walker stories, but I hope to see more of the Walkers in other series! I don't care for the narrator's female voices, especially Livy and Tori.

Caleb’s Story

I have enjoyed all of Peggy’s books that I have read. This isn’t included in my favorites, but the story itself didn’t disappoint. The narrator really needs to improve his female representation of voices and needs to slow his speech when females are speaking. Overall, I’m still glad I listened to the book. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

Teton Season Of Promise!

This is one of my favorite audiobooks books written by Peggy L. Henderson and narrated by Steve Marvel, narrator for the Teton Series. I can always count on a beautifully written, fresh storyline, along with characters that aren't thrown in willy nilly, but with careful thought and a back story. Listening to Steve Marvel narrating and bringing the book to life, was a wonderful experience once again. A wonderful story of love and learning to trust once again. Recommend! JudyE

Love it

Fun to read about a 3rd generation Walker family member. Caleb was just as charming and heroic as his dad and uncles were in books past. I love how fiesty and stubborn Livy is.
I loved it so much I am listening to it for a second time! I highly recommend listening to the whole Teton series. Peggy does a great job creating characters, setting up scenes and creating stories that make you feel as though you are walking right along with the story!
Steve Marvel is the perfect voice of the Walker family!

YES! The Third Generation of the Walker Boys!

Caleb Walker wants to find direction in his life and Olivia just wants to find a home. They first met as children and were separated only to come back together as adults and are both trying to navigate life. Will they navigate it together or go their separate ways?

I am excited that Peggy wrote Caleb's story who was introduced to readers in Teton Splendor as a young orphan and helped Joseph Walker escort a friend's granddaughter home to the Tetons. I loved this story and the way Peggy weaves characters in from 2 other series together. As a typical Peggy L. Henderson book, this can be read as a stand alone and be complete and wonderful, but if you want to get the full richness of the story and characters, you need to check her website out and get the rest of her books!

Steve Marvel is known as the voice of the "Walker Boys" by some listeners and he comes back for this story and once again, brings Peggy's book to life!
