All round a good read

I love this book and storyline! No vulgarity or profanity and just an all round good book. There is romance and adventure and such a good storylines. I am excited to read the next book in the series.

Good story line

The story line is good. The narrators voice whispering when speaking female vs louder speaking male drove me nuts!! Also the characters wishy washy thoughts drove me nuts as well!!

Good story but could be shorter

I enjoyed the story line for the most part. I think we could have gotten the same story with a couple of hours shaved off. There were stretches of inner thoughts that seemed to be on repeat and that got a bit frustrating. There were also a few side stories that were important to the story, and played out, however, I thought they were going to be more meaty but they weren’t.

This is all just my own opinion. Overall, I REALLY appreciate a good story without having to cringe when gratuitous foul language or sex comes up. I’m not a prude, but I really would rather not have that in my ears just to hear a good story.

Nice good book I like the tease at the end

Nice story I liked the teaser at the end. I would buy the sequel for sure

A book for keeps!

First time I’ve read this author, and glad I did! A sweet love story, vivid characters and good narration. Recommend, high morals and free of bad language. Well done!

Christian Historical Romance

When everything seems like "it's not going your way", and maybe it's even "out to destroy what little you have", it's time to face the facts. Either God is punishing you, which is not in His character. Or, God is trying to get your attention and remind you that He wants to walk WITH you THROUGH the storms of life! He's trying to get your attention so He can give you His best and He gets the glory!
This is such a powerful story!

Realistic - Heartbraking - Very Heartwarming

I liked the story line, but I found the self talk - character thoughts expressed at length became tiresome. However, that won't stop me from reading Book 2 as soon as it becomes available in audible format! I searched for it, but I realized that this book just came out this year - 2021. Hurry, please! 😀

Bad narration

Not a good narrator her voice keeps whispering it’s hard to hear. I will not buy another book narrated by her.

Great storyline

The books is engaging and tells a story of tough situations with a great ending. Loved it

EXCELLENT

Loved the whole story but I felt like the heroine got a little redundant at the end, going on & on not allowing a connection with her husband. Oh well next book. Loved that it is a clean historical romance.
