M.C.-light

Grammy J was exactly right when they said the narrator wasn't good with all the characters. In fact, she was really only consistently good when voicing the main male character, Gunner, his young sister, Maizie, his housekeeper, and the main fem character, Peaches. The narrator's voice work of Maizie made the story for me.
This story is for listeners who are looking for a story that is M.C.-light (not the superstar black fem rapper), a story not centered on the in's and out's of a male motorcycle crew, one with the crew's activity much more on the periphery. It's for this reason that I enjoyed the story. The hot sex was a plus too. It's not gratuitous. There were about 4 sex scenes.
This is my 1st book by this author but not my last. It was a bonus that Gunner said his crew was multiracial, unlike many.

Gunny and Peaches!

Gunny wants to provide his four year old sister Maisie with a safer life than what they were leading in Nevada so he packs up his life and they relocate to a ranch in Texas where he plans to open an adult entertainment club and provide a safe haven for veterans.

Peaches and Gunny have a past so after witnessing something she shouldn’t have she needs to lay low and where better than a secluded ranch in Texas.

As the danger draws ever closer will Mayhem be able to protect both her and his sister? The narrator portrayed a number of different voices for the different characters most of which I enjoyed but there were a couple that were less clear.

MC biker. Raising 4 yr old sister. Sex Club owner. Sexy government hacker.

Awesome story full of intrigue for the government worker running for life. Finding sanctuary with a MC biker that can’t stand her. Who can she trust? Will growly biker, Gunnar give into his intense attraction to Peaches? Will Peaches ever be safe with all the people who worked on the secret government project with her turning up dead? Beautifully written story!
The audible reader was unable to made the different voices so one could hear a real difference between them. The good story carried the audible, not the narration.

The Narration Brings this Hot Romance to Life

Although the genre is not what I normally listen to I felt this story come to life especially thanks to the amazing performance. The characters take on a life of their own as they come to terms with rancher style life out on Texas... And of course with sexiness. This his and hers tale with Gunner and Peaches is great fun. I'm not done listening but I'm really liking it so far. Often it's hard to distinguish the characters apart in an audio book but you won't have that issue here.

Authentic and a hot listen

An extremely talented narration from beginning to end by June Aaron. She tactfully and believably draws you in on a journey with characters of all demographics as you lose yourself in KB Winter’s imaginative and sultry world. Aaron inhabits the voice of a 4 year old girl, a woman from New York and a masterful rendition of a hardened and very manly motorcycle club president. If you gravitate towards the beautiful rawness of a love story and a window into our true desires, take a listen now. I’ll be awaiting more of this series to unfold.

Fantastic!

I loved this book when I read it, but listening to this narrator really brought the characters out even more. I cannot wait to hear the rest of the series!!!

Hot listen!

The story was a very unusual mix of MC and ranch. The adventure kept you reading (or listening in my case). It was a love/hate love story with a hea. Can’t wait to read about the other MC brothers and how they find love. The only negative was it takes a while to get used to the narrator as she does some character’s voices well and some are cringeworthy! It was five stars for HOT though! Loved it!!

I want June Aaron to narrate my sex life

Gunner and Peaches Tempted

Absolutely loved Gunner and Peaches. Intriguing stubborn characters, steamy sex, fast moving action, and lots of humor. Looking forward to the next one. June Aaron is a new narrator for me and I'm intrigued by her performance, her inflections needs work but overall it was an ok listen. I was given this audiobook at my request by the Author in exchange for an honest review.
