Publisher's summary

A heart-stirring novel of unrequited love and second chances by New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst.

Young widow Bella Sunshine-Caldwell is focused only on raising her daughter and running the family business, Sunshine Bridal. There’s no time for romance - especially with her fellow wedding planner, Gabe, whom she’s growing increasingly attracted to. He’s too enterprising to stay in Cape May for long, anyway. And too tall, dark, and handsome to be anything but a heartbreaker.

Every woman in town has her sights on Gabe Garcia. The only woman he has eyes for doesn’t seem interested. All he wants is to fall in love, be a father, and settle down. As he and Bella work together on a magical winter wedding, the distance between them closes, the nights grow warmer, and Bella might be seeing Gabe for who he really is: a man worth the effort.

But all it takes is a single rumor for these two hearts’ fragile love story to shatter. And now the happy ending Bella and Gabe hoped for is something they’re going to have to fight for.

Loved Gabe and his heart - and both narrators were wonderful.

This was a lovely story, although Bella was a bit frustrating never believing in Gabe but believing small town gossip. Particularly being a widowed and single mother. She should have known better. Gabes struggles to deal with having women judge him by his looks was a refreshing take of objectifying people.

The big show of her true feelings at the ending was terrific.

Great series.

Temptation on Ocean Drive is a great story. Ever read a book and think, I want more? Yeah! This series is that for me, I find myself dreaming of Cape May. I want to know the Sunshine sisters and all the people of the small beach town. I’m hooked on these characters, the story and the planning of the beautiful weddings and parties. Books like this series are the reason why I love books, I open a book and I’m transported into a whole new world full of laughter, love and endless hours of enjoyment.

Disappointing

The narration was so very disappointing after the perfect narration of Love on Beach Avenue. This sister acted like a child.

Second visit to Cape May

I enjoyed returning to Cape May and seeing how Bella and Gabe’s relationship evolves from co-workers to lovers and life partners. This story drew me in from Chapter 1, and I wanted to spend more time with the Sunshine sisters and their extended family.

Belle is giving me a migraine

Gabe is supposed to be a 27 year young man. Why does the guy narrating sound like he’s at least 60? Also this collection has been painful to get through the only reason I’m making it is because I’m at work so it’s easily to just keep listening. The last series from the author with the siblings that owned a B&B and ranch was great. But this one is hard getting through; the characters are insufferable. The story line is good but main characters aren’t that likable. I love Gabe but wanna punch Belle in the face. I already know in the next book Taylor is going to give me a damn headache because she does in little she’s in the first two books.

Okay story bad narration.

After disliking the “hero” in the first book in this series I absolutely loved Gabe who is a partner in the bridal with the Sunshine sisters. He’s personable, professional, talented and extremely good looking which is an asset to the business. Unfortunately the gossiping women in town and predatory female wedding guests constantly speculating that he must be a player sets up a negative storyline that really bugged me. Bella is a great mother and wedding planner but she’s traumatized with insecurity after her beloved husband’s death five years ago. I had great empathy for her history but quickly grew tired of her jumping to conclusions and pushing Gabe away because of gossip. The storyline is predictable and again I survived it rather than enjoyed it. I’m sorry to say that neither narrator was impressive because simply reading copy is boring.

Temptation On Ocean Drive

This series is really good and the first one book was great and this one was too even though Bella got on my nerves at times. Gabe is the fourth wedding planner and only man in their business and gives a different outlook to their events and when he and Bella work together they pull off the perfect Christmas theme wedding (even with all the quirks). When one of the guests insists she be hired they respectfully decline since it is such a quick turnaround but this is a high profile client who has a mind of her own and the end up on Page Six and publicity is key and when she turns out to be the perfect client they come together to make this her dream wedding. Bella is a widow who is slow to trust and she is positive Gabe is not going to stay in their small town even though he is all in with her and her daughter. Watching these two find their way was something else and should make us all believe in true love.
