In terms of narrators, it was very good. I felt on edge and the intensity of emotions throughout.
Very unhappy. If an author writes characters in a way that you grow to love them and want happiness for them, then the reader should get that pay off. The very ending and last chapter even, left me feeling sad and almost empty because it is not what I wanted for the main characters. I wanted more and I wanted to see a bigger glimpse of the future.
Raw emotion, stronger character development.
Again, I would rather write my own ending for this story than have the one I got. There is a better way to end it.
A very lackluster ending to a story i have been following for far too long. The only word i have for this ending is bleh. Glad its over.
I fell in love with all the characters except Caden in the Kiss of Deception. Fell in love with him in the second book. All three books were well written and narrated. This one blew me away. I loved all the plot twists within the plots. I listened to it almost all the way through on my day off, had other things to do but couldn't put it down. Well worth the money.
This book is by far the best of them all. The author did an amazing job tying the whole story together. it was intense, tear jerking and just beautiful. I am so sad to see this story end. Like any book, it has it's weak points, but a truly wonderful story from beginning to end.
Warning, a few spoilers...Well, it was a great read, however, I do wish we could have seen how they worked it out. Also, I was kinda voting for Team Kaden, especially considering where they ended up. But if he didn't get the prize, at least he got someone, and a great someone at that! Kaden deserves a better life after everything. And there are a few other characters I'm curious about. Like Eben and Natiya (not sure if I spelled that right). What are they doing now? Hopefully we will see a novella or two...
A hard hitting ending to an amazing series. I truly enjoyed this and all the other books and I am so sad they're done. I lost myself in this world and coukdnt tear myself away. Truly a work of art.
I love listening to audio books, they are my favorite escape! I like fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, YA, some for fun & books that make me think.
I really liked the other books but this is probably now in my top ten. I felt I learned from it on a personal level. I felt totally attached and invested into the characters. I cried like ...several times which I can't recall doing to a book in long time! Lots of twists, more romance, and much more fighting and lives will be lost. yeah great book wasn't sure if they would get it all in there, stuff is packed in so that could be a positive or negative depending on you. I think If you read the other books and liked them, and you must read them1st, then you will see agree this is not only a good listen it's a fabulous book altogether!
The book was good, but I was left with a feeling of disappointment. You're taken on a great journey throughout most of the book. You get the answers you wanted. Then when THE major event happens something changes. The book starts to feel rushed, like the author's deadline loomed. Timelines advanced quickly in a matter of pages, wrapping up every storyline. The story is told (and ended) so abruptly I felt robbed of the characters story. I felt like we were owed an Epilogue and it was stollen like Morrighan.
I loved this series all of the books were beautifully written and the performance by all of the voice actors was amazing and really brought the books to life. They all kept me enthralled until the very last sentence!
I loved that the performance and the plot. I was kept on my toes and guessing as to what was going to happen next frequently as I listened to this book.
One of the most memorable moments occurred when the traitors broke out of their cells and injure an important character. I was so shocked and afraid for this person's life. (I'm not naming who because I don't want to give away too much)
I loved watching Lia use her voice among the other generals and other political advisers. This happened many times throughout the book, but it allowed her to speak up and be heard, which is all she wants.
I did not listen to this in one sitting, but I often tried to listen to it in the car and for long periods of time in my house.
This was an amazing conclusion to this series. I am so sad it's over, but so happy I read it. The cast was marvelous and listening to the audiobook really added to my experience.
Amazing, from start to finish! Brilliant conclusion to this trilogy. The narration was simply excellent.
"Perfect conclusion to the trilogy"
I really enjoyed the Remnant Chronicles, the first book took a bit of getting into but the second book was absolutely fantastic and this one ties the story up perfectly. The performance is great and the actors really brought the characters to life. I would definitely recommend this series, stick with it if you struggle with book one!
"Not enough hours in the day"
Only reason I put this down was to sleep and to go to work (I was tempted to phone in sick so I didn't have to go in and could listen to the book, but in the end went in begrudgingly) There was times I worried Mary was steering the story to go a way that I would hate it to go but she pulled me back in and the end was great :) loved it!!! (especially the last 5 minutes :) )
