helped in general

it really is just a summary. not a watered-down version of the book. not many insights to be found here, aside from an outline of what you would in fact learn if you read the actual book. I am especially thankful for the last one minute of this summary, which reveals that the author of the book has a reputation for dating the vulnerable woman he helps to consult. that really helps give me an idea of who is writing this book!

update: since listening to this summary, I purchased the actual book and read it. It is absolutely phenomenal. And I wouldn't have gotten a hint of its greatness from this summary. Do not let the summary turn you off to the book. The book is an unbelievable resource that I feel like is absolutely invaluable for someone in this situation, or anyone who wants to help them. In fact, I would argue that portions of this book should be required reading for every woman getting to be the age where they would start dating. It would save a tremendous amount of pain for a tremendous amount of people every year.
