Publisher's summary

Important note: This is a summary of The Diabetes Code by Jason Fung and not the original book.

Globally, the number of people with diabetes has quadrupled in the past three decades. About one in 11 adults worldwide now have diabetes (90 percent of whom have type-2 diabetes), and it has become one of the most common causes of premature death and disability.

In his important book, Dr. Fung takes aim at how to actually prevent and reverse diabetes naturally without potentially dangerous drugs. The result? An action plan on how to successfully reverse type-2 diabetes. His book also explains the mechanisms by which diabetes develops. When you understand the causes, the solutions makes sense.

This audiobook allows you to skip to the nuggets of wisdom and actionable content in a very easily absorbed, listenable way including key takeaways at the end of each chapter. This audiobook summarizes the original in detail to help people effectively understand, articulate, and imbibe the original work by Fung. This audiobook is not meant to replace the original book but to serve as a companion to it.

Worth the Effort

I really appreciate the chance to reduce the amount of reading time as well as the opportunity to decide whether or not I would like to purchase the original. I like the take aways-summary within the summary you could say. I will consider this option for future non-fiction reading.

The Diabetic Code - Dr Jason Fung

This book gave me the background on what was actually happening in my body and how the medical community is not really got me on the right course in eliminating my Type 2 Diabetes.
I like the fact they have given me the Ketogenic and the Mediterranean diet to research as a start to choosing the best food management system to eliminate my Diabetes.
I would have liked it more if there was more info on the different types of fasting regiments to consider.

Succinct and easy to listen to

I wanted to jump start this diet as I've heard wonderful things about IF. I have the book will go back and read it now. I've been a Type II for 40 years and have experienced so many of the mistaken treatments he cites. Excited to finally have some answers.

Excellent Summary

I read the diabetes code 3 weeks ago but it’s not easy to remember all the details. This summary brought everything back. Thank you for this!

Really outstanding in the truths it tells

Loved from beginning to end. The truths he tells which have been hidden for such a long time. People have to start realizing that money talks. It is sad that even though the evidence is there, he tells about the many studies. that help diabetes. Most of the medical structure keeps on going back to the failed methods again and again. Thank you for bringing out the truth.

Worth every penny!!!

It was so awesome to have a summary of the book with the main features especially for those short on time. It is my belief I still walk away with the key information I needed to help me on my quest.

A book that every diabetic should listen to.

A book that every diabetic should listen to understand what happening and wanting to make good decisions for themselves. I thought it interesting that the body actually started changing its to diabetes ten year prior to being diagnosed. I also found symptoms that my mom had decades ago that I feel were missed diagnosed.
